A sheep header in Lesotho earns R12 000 per year. 😱 | As per this short documentary, it's not an easy job, looking after 500 sheep, staying in the mountains for long periods. NB. Whoever is funding GroundUp, must add 5x the grants. I love their content.

What you are witnessing in this video is called Sheep Dipping. It is legal in the United States Sheep Dipping or Plunge or Cage Dipping is when the “sheep are herded into an inescapable lowering platform and fully submerged in a formulated solution to prevent parasites. Sheep dipping can result in asphyxiation or suffocation from sheep getting trapped or overwhelmed in the dip solution.” “Sheep dipping is designed with economics, not welfare at the forefront, allowing for more sheep to be treated in the fastest time possible despite them not being able to swim or hold their breath for long periods.” - Sheep dipping has been linked to soil and water pollution - There are health risks associated with the chemicals used, such as organophosphates and synthetic pyrethroids

Christine Lagarde gets €466,000 per year as ECB President, which is already quite high. But on top of that, she gets €135,000 a year purely for housing. And another €125,000 per year for her role in the Bank of International Settlements. Grand total: €726,000 per year. Her counterpart Jerome Powell earns €173,000 a year, Lagarde earns four times as much. When asked how much she withheld from the public, the ECB said nothing, they didn't respond. This is the same woman who decides what happens with your savings and will push CBDC down your throat to see every transaction you make.

This homeless woman in Los Angeles is brought to tears saying she just wants housing and to work again as a hair stylist California Democrats have spent over $15+ billion dollars just in Los Angeles on the homeless in the last 10 years. Data shows they spend about $50-$100,000 per homeless person per year How can you spend $100,000 per year per homeless person and not have an apartment for someone who wants one The answer is it’s all being laundered by NGOs

Massive web of money laundering Massachusetts taxpayer funded migrant shelter CEO is making $225,000 per year to run the NGO Her NGO is getting $9 million in government grants PER YEAR “She has 2 relatives and an employee on the city council” Nate Friedman “The president of the board for La Calaberativa (the NGO) also just happens to be a detective at the Chelsea Police Department. I also found that LA Collaborativa had $400,000 split between them and another nonprofit in American Rescue Plan act funding. They also got another $374,000 in ARPA funding. Now, guess who happens to be on the board of the American Rescue Plan Act. Gladys Vega, the CEO of La Collaborativa. Is that not the definition of a conflict of interest?”

Jayapal: It is an increase in ICE funding. The reason people are saying it isn’t is because the CR from last year had an anomaly—a one-time funding amount of $485 million. If you add that into the base-year funding and look at this year, there is a $115 million decrease, but that was one-time anomaly funding. The core issue here is that there really are no guardrails on ICE and CBP. I can’t vote for it. I can’t be complicit in continuing to allow them to violate the constitutional rights of people across this country.

I'm starting to like Dylan Cardwell. Please give this a listen! "In college I averaged 5 points per game, I rebounded the ball five times per game, I averaged like 1.6 blocks per game. No one thought I was an NBA player. I'm not supposed to be here. I'm living my childhood dream. This is a dream come true for me" "We might not be having a great season, but this is the best locker room I've really been a part outside of my last year at Auburn. I really appreciate being on this team and being in this locker room"

I suspect Cornelius is correct in this matter. It was too easy for me to investigate the allegations against Professor Arday and find them to be absurd. It's hard to believe that not a single journalist among the 280 articles bothered to look into the claims themselves; after all, that is their job.

2 years ago today I fed my very first street dog here in Thailand called Lucky. I'd been sober a year at that stage and was looking for something purposeful to do with my life. Today it has grown to... 🥘 Feeding 800 dogs per day ✂️ Sterilising 1500 dogs per month 🌎 Re-homing dogs all over the world 🇹🇭🇮🇩 Funding 6 partner charities in 2 countries This is the year of building out an organisation that is much bigger than just me and has massive impact around the world.

“The government is not a job-providing institution. We need to change this mentality where children believe that, after graduating, the government must give them a job. We are also responsible for creating this mindset, as we’ve long been chanting slogans demanding jobs,” said Minister Lal Kantha, addressing concerns over overstaffing in government institutions.

A couple that makes $20k/mo will live a comfortable life in Toronto, Canada. Let me walk you through it $20k per month is $240k a year. Let’s say each person makes $120,000 per year In Ontario: Federal tax: $18,812.49 Provincial tax: $10,128.16 CPP contributions: $4,055.50 EI premiums $1,049.12 Net pay: $85,954.73 per person per year or $7,162.89 per person per month. Who are we talking about? A couple. No kids. For a couple: Net pay: $171,909.46 per year or $14,325.79 per month. What does “comfortable” mean? Let us say you are: - not living pay check to pay check - filling retirement accounts - paying for food, clothing, shelter, transportation Let us start: TFSA (equivalent to U.S. Roth IRA): $7,000 per adult per year, or $14k per couple per year total. But each person contributed $21,600 to their RRSP, paid $30,000 in tax, and had a refund of $8,900 which they used for their TFSA with $1,900 per person to spare. RRSP (equivalent to U.S. 401k/403b): $21,600 per adult, or $43,200 total per couple. For retirement (TFSA & RRSP): $43,200 per year or $3,600 per month. Let’s move to shelter: A 1b1b condo in Toronto costs $720,000. This should be affordable for a gross household income of $240,000 per year based on the 20/30/3 rule for buying a home: 1. 20% down 2. Shelter costs less than 30% gross household income 3. Shelter price less than 3x gross household income If no downpayment the couple needs to find $144,000 for downpayment, $13,275 land transfer tax (assuming first time home buyer otherwise $21,750) and legal. $162k+ Minimum. Monthly mortgage is $3,400 per month (20% down, 5.1% interest, 25 year amortization) Plus: Utilities Insurance Property tax Landscaping Maintenance Capital expenditures You get the picture. If non-recoverable shelter cost is 2% this is $14,400 per year or $1,200 per month. Let’s keep it simple and say that shelter equivalent is $4,600 per month Next add the following: Groceries: $1,000/mo Car: $1,000/mo (includes monthly payment, maintenance, insurance, gas) We are at $10,200 per month. ($3,600 retirement + $4,600 shelter + $1,000 food + $1,000 transportation) Now add: $200/mo Emergency fund $200/mo. Phone & Internet $400/mo Eating out $200/mo Entertainment $500/mo Clothes, Fitness, Grooming, Travel Total of $1,500 We are at $11,700 per month. This couple has $2,700 per month to spare and can consider having a child and/or a second car. Statistics Canada calculated that raising a child from birth until the age of 18 years of age will cost $1,400 per month. This excludes saving for the child’s post-secondary education in an RESP. In short to live a comfortable life in Toronto with adaquate contributions to retirement, money for shelter, food, clothing, transportation, entertainment, and a future that may include having a child, a couple needs to make $20k/mo. Otherwise we just decide to sacrifice, and live without something listed above. Get financially literate. You got this! 🙌

"And then overall, although this isn't directly from the C40, the fundamental goal of something approximating an 85% reduction in Western living standards—which is the calculation of the green, virtuous, globalist utopians as to what's necessary in order for us to inhabit a green planet."
