A short video explaining why doing many small projects is more educational than doing one giant project. Side Note: While many programmers draw on the screen, I'm the one who can actually draw...and paint.

Absolutely! Doing small projects gives you the satisfaction of finishing.

I love this talk, bec I've always talked to people about "barriers to creativity" Slow work computers are major problem that I've tried to explain to IT h/w team. At one point ca 2011 VisualStudio would pause while typing code for like 3 seconds. IT team, "duh, why it matter?"🧵

After a couple of decades programming, somehow I became afflicted with an inability to even *start* because I foresee parts of the "ugly middle". When I was a kid I'd just turn on my Atari ST and start banging out code without a care in the world. I need to roll back somehow.

In art we just say, "Trust the process." I think programmers don't have a personal process so they have nothing to trust.

Thank you so much for sharing this, I'm not exaggerating when I say that it came up in my feed at the exact right moment. You've earned a follow from me.

You're welcome.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi - Sorry to be dense but does your Epic Supporter Pack include all of your programming courses? It wasn't entirely clear to me on the payment screen. Thanks in advance!

Everything I've made or make on that site. So if I do courses in the future you get them added for free. I _kind_ of want to just switch to that model and sell the whole site for one price but not sure.

Excellent, thanks for the speedy reply!

love this man, thanks
