Gachagua Vows to Make Ruto a One-Term President Former DP Rigathi Gachagua on Monday swore to do whatever it takes to make President William Ruto a one-term president. Speaking alongside opposition politicians Kalonzo Musyoka and Eugene Wamalwa, Gachagua declared that he will work with all Kenyans to challenge Ruto’s administration and ensure the president doesn’t see a second term in office. He lashed out at Ruto’s government, calling it a dictatorship and accusing the president of being intolerant. "He wants his way, and all those ministers are just flower girls," Gachagua said, adding that he was the only one who could stand up to Ruto. Gachagua has repeatedly criticized Ruto’s administration since his ouster through impeachment in October 2024. He decried the government as a “one-man show,” claiming ministers have been reduced to mere sycophants. He called on Kenyans to rise against Ruto and warned that any reckless statements made by Ruto or his officials should be documented and forwarded to the International Criminal Court. The former DP has also been forging alliances with political figures he previously opposed. Just recently, he met Martha Karua, the NARC Kenya leader and Raila Odinga’s running mate in 2022, to discuss how they could unite and challenge Ruto’s “dictatorship.” Gachagua’s political future is taking shape through consultative meetings with leaders from different sectors at his Wamunyoro home in Nyeri. In another fiery statement, Gachagua revealed that Mt Kenya could support Western Kenya in the 2027 election, just as they backed Ruto in 2022. He warned that Ruto should not take Western Kenya’s support for granted, and said Mt Kenya could even back Kalonzo Musyoka. Gachagua pointed out that Ruto’s 47% support in Mt Kenya, which contributed to his victory, is now up for grabs and that the region has already started shifting its political allegiance. The former DP also tore into the promises made to Western Kenya, accusing the government of failing to deliver on its pledges, including the promised 1,000 kilometres of tarmacked roads. He was unapologetic, asserting that the region was no longer willing to support a government that does not keep its word.

VALENTINE OZIGBO GIVES ROUSING SPEECH AS SUPPORTERS LAUNCH VALIANT MOVEMENT AWKA, Nigeria – In a rousing speech that electrified a packed hall at the Grand East Hotel in Awka, Valentine Ozigbo, a respected business leader, officially launched the Valiant Movement, a political and social initiative aimed at redefining leadership and governance in Anambra State. The event, held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, was attended by political figures, business leaders, and community stakeholders, marked a pivotal moment in Ozigbo’s evolving political trajectory. Standing before an enthusiastic audience, the globally recoginised philanthropist who recently shook up the political landscape of Anambra State, delivered a passionate address framed around a simple yet profound question: “What is Today?” “This is the moment we reclaim our greatness,” Ozigbo declared, his voice resonating across the hall. “This is the moment that we rise up and unite behind our vision for a better and brighter Anambra.” A Movement Rooted in History and Purpose Ozigbo, the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, evoked the rich history of Anambra, paying tribute to icons such as Nnamdi Azikiwe, Dim Ikemba Ojukwu, Alex Ekwueme, Chuba Okadigbo, Dora Akunyili, Chinua Achebe, and Peter Obi, among others. He lamented what he described as the state’s decline into insecurity, confusion, and disillusionment, blaming it on leadership failures and a deviation from the ideals of selflessness and service. “The moment we stopped placing character, competence, and compassion as the overruling criteria for leadership, that was the moment our greatness was caged,” he said. He further called for a new brand of leadership that transcends party lines, urging unity and a renewed sense of purpose among Ndi Anambra. Emphasising Leadership, Unity, and Action Ozigbo’s speech was not just a reflection on the past but a call to action. He denounced "dismissive and arrogant leadership," insecurity, and the erosion of dignity among the people. He positioned the Valiant Movement as a collective effort to restore Anambra’s position as a beacon of progress and development. “In this hall today are men and women who have made sacrifices, who have put the people first, and who are ready to lead this movement,” he said, acknowledging several individuals who had played key roles in the initiative. “This is the moment that we anchor our faith on the boundless possibilities planted within us. This is the moment that everything changes for Ndi Anambra,” he added, drawing cheers from the audience. The Valiant Movement is a youth-driven grassroot movement committed delivering Ozigbo's victory at the 2025 governorship election led by Ike Bishop Okoronkwo. A Strategic Political Move? Ozigbo’s launch of the Valiant Movement comes just days after his dramatic exit from the Labour Party, a move that fuelled intense speculation about his next political step. On Thursday, he joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria's ruling party, and this has already shifted the dynamics of Anambra’s political landscape. Though he did not dwell on his APC membership, his speech made clear that he envisions a broad coalition that prioritises leadership quality over partisan affiliations. He is expected to engage with the national leadership of the APC in the coming days, potentially consolidating his role within the party ahead of the 2025 Anambra governorship election. The Road Ahead As the event concluded, the energy in the room was palpable. Attendees, many of them young professionals and political influencers, expressed optimism that Ozigbo’s movement could galvanise the electorate and reshape the state’s political future. For now, the Valiant Movement has begun. Whether it will translate into an effective political force remains to be seen.

“Si Alikuwa Anakuja Hapa Juu Ya Gari Anakula Miraa?” Gachagua Tears into Ruto in Meru Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has launched a scathing rebuke against President William Ruto, accusing him of orchestrating a wider plan to destabilize the Mt. Kenya region by first crippling its political leadership before turning on its economic foundations. Speaking at a charged church gathering at AIPCA Igembe North in Meru County, Gachagua alleged that the president, alongside a clique of influential operatives within State House, is systematically eroding the region’s leadership to eliminate any effective resistance. He warned that once political figures have been subdued, businesses in the region will be left vulnerable, as there will be no strong voices left to defend them. Gachagua framed the alleged scheme to remove Chief Justice Martha Koome as part of this broader effort, arguing that her ouster is not merely an attack on the judiciary but a calculated step in dismantling Mt. Kenya’s influence. “Rais amepanga kufukuzza Justice Martha Koome,” he roared. “Amepanga pale kortini na amehonga watu!” He declared that if Ruto proceeds with the plan, he should forget about setting foot in Meru. “Ukifukuza Martha Koome, usijaribu kukanyanga hapa Meru tena!” he warned, telling the crowd that the community must resist what he described as a deliberate assault on its political and economic standing. Gachagua also took aim at Meru leaders, including Members of Parliament, accusing them of being summoned and politically compromised to align with the president’s agenda. He claimed they had abandoned their duty to protect the region and instead chosen self-preservation. He further criticised Ruto’s failure to honour his campaign pledges to miraa farmers, pointing out that the president had promised to revitalise the trade by removing barriers that prevent growers from earning better profits. “Si alikuwa anakuja hapa kwa gari anakula miraa akiwa juu?” he asked the crowd, triggering a spirited response of applause and laughter. He faulted Ruto of using theatrics to endear himself to the people of Meru during the campaign period, only to neglect them after securing power.

Before Rory Stewart decided to become a leftist he once offered an absolutely amazing defence of traditional British culture and the romantic High Tory tradition. Everyone should watch this to understand why it is so sad that traditional British culture is being swept away by the mass demographic displacement unleashed by the Boriswave. How on Earth someone like Rory Stewart could spend so much of his life thinking like this before ultimately deciding one day that mass demographic displacement and the resultant cultural alienation it produces was fine is a complete mystery. What he outlines here is an emotional attachment to place, country, ancestry. National stewardship. Something passed down through the generations. Completely eviscerated and destroyed by a post-national political class with an intense sense of shame, guilt and self-loathing for the crime of having been born British. A political and media class completely blinded to its own hardcore adherence to a set of unquestioned political and cultural assumptions about the world that would have been utterly bizarre and alien to the vast majority of human beings throughout the entire history of humanity. A set of political and cultural assumptions that ultimately seem to boil down to the core idea that foreigners are more morally deserving of the British patrimony than the actual descendants of the British. Therefore wanting to maintain any level of cultural continuity with Britain as it has actually existence for more than one thousand years is racist. Just stunning that Rory could once think like this and yet decide he now doesn’t care about migration. And truly stunning that this immense national inheritance, an amazing gift passed down through the generations for one thousand years, has been squandered within like 25 years of misgovernment.

Yesterday, at the Senate plenary, I voted NO to the proviso that has the capacity of whittling down the mandatory electronic transmission of election results from the polling units in Form EC8A. As I have explained severally, this proviso adds nothing to the law but has the capacity to be misused, misunderstood, and used to undermine electoral integrity and transparency. My view is that INEC has already explained that it has the capacity to transmit election results in over 90% of polling units. Therefore, I feel it is the duty of INEC, once we make it mandatory, to come up with guidelines and regulations that will stipulate strict conditions for the few cases where presiding officers may not be able to transmit electronically as a result of communication failure; and these, from the last INEC report, cannot be more than 7%. My view, therefore, is that we should leave it for INEC to handle through its regulations and guidelines. The law should only make provision for mandatory electronic transmission, which we have done, and we should stop there. Hence, I voted yesterday, galvanised opinions, and also joined in voting NO to the inclusion of the proviso. Unfortunately, as I have said, the majority is determined to utilise its numbers, and they did so effectively. In a democracy, the majority has its way, but the minority will have its say. I believe that the majority should be used for the national good and not otherwise. It is now left for INEC to stipulate strict conditions for the admission of election results not transmitted electronically. It is also for the courts to bear in mind the general good when interpreting this section to promote electoral integrity and transparency. As I have said, the citizens must not give up. They should organise and support candidates and parties that promote and respect democratic norms, and organise and mobilise against candidates and parties that do otherwise. We wish Nigeria well. —HSD.

Professor Lovemore Madhuku in his Own Words Making the Case for Parliament to Indirectly Elect the President as an Electoral College: “We must not put in the Constitution of the country a provision that is dependant on what happens in a political party. That’s the point I’m making. We must never say in our Constitution of Zimbabwe that if a sitting President dies or resigns, we will wait to hear what the political party of that President is saying. No. That is not the best way of running a country. Political parties remain the preserve of those people who are in those political parties. But the country is run on the basis of either an election by the people—direct election—or you have Parliament as an institution sitting as an electoral college. Where parties have influence, they must do the influence within Parliament, but never to allow the political party to sit there to say I’m giving you this President, and so forth. That’s the point I’m making. And on that point, I’m making it right across the world; that’s what they do.” - Professor Madhuku, addressing a “Heal Zimbabwe Trust” public meeting in Harare on 22 February 2020. COMMENT: Professor Lovemore Madhuku’s 2020 remarks make a clear, powerful and enduring case for Clause 3 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe (Amendment No. 3) H.B.I. Bill, 2026. This clause replaces the direct election of the President with an indirect election by Parliament sitting jointly as an electoral college; both after every general election and, when necessary, to fill any vacancy in the office of President. The current direct election of the President was first introduced in anticipation of a legislated one-party-one-man rule through Constitution Amendment No. 7, Act 1987 in the old Lancaster Constitution repealed in 2013. Professor Madhuku put it plainly: The Constitution should not—as it currently does— depend on the internal decisions of a political party to select a successor to the President of the country. When a sitting President dies, resigns or is removed, the nation should not have to wait and hear what that President’s political party “is saying.” That is not a constitutionally proper way to run a country. Political parties exist for their own members. The country, however, belongs to all Zimbabweans. The proper solution is straightforward: Parliament—the institution chosen by the people—should act as the electoral college. Inside that open forum, parties may exercise their influence transparently and accountably. No party should ever stand outside the Constitution and simply “give” the nation its next leader. This principle is not abstract. Worldwide, presidential by-elections to fill mid-term vacancies are extremely rare. Most stable presidential systems instead use automatic succession by a deputy or, increasingly, allow the legislature to elect a successor who serves out the remainder of the term. These arrangements place national continuity and stability above partisan interests. Clause 3 of the Bill follows exactly this proven path. By giving Parliament the clear duty to elect the President—whether at the start of a new term or in an unforeseen vacancy—Zimbabwe will secure stronger democratic stability, and keep the highest office firmly within the people’s constitutional framework rather than the private control of any single party. In short, Clause 3 is a mature, practical and principled reform that directly honours Professor Madhuku’s wise 2020 counsel. As such, it deserves the full support of every well-meaning Zimbabwean who values good governance, democratic constitutionalism, institutional integrity and the long-term strength of the country’s democracy in the national interest!

Zimbabwe has had disputed elections since 2000. The only missing link is electoral reforms and a united front. Without them, voting is a waste of time; except for those being voted for, who treat the process as nothing more than a job-securing exercise. Former South African President Jacob Zuma once advised Zimbabwe’s opposition not to participate in elections without first securing reforms in 2013. They refused to listen, and have continued repeating the same mistake of aligning their political objectives with divine intervention and political miracles. Zimbabwe is exactly three years away from another election, yet there is no electoral reform campaign in place since the last vote. Only a fool would believe they can win against ZANUPF without reforms and a united front. There is no organised or united opposition. They will approach the next election as fragmented entities shouting empty victory slogans, giving ZANUPF more oxygen, as if they are on a ZANUPF pay roll. Once again, the suffering citizens will be used to legitimise a broken system and sanitise ZANUPF rule. They will knowingly vote in an election where the other participant has the election results in their pocket. The clarion call should be; No Reforms, No Elections—unless you are one of those feeding off ZANUPF’s trough while pretending to be in the opposition. Zimbabweans must wake up from this shameful slumber of being repeatedly used by political actors who now use elections as a business instead as a platform to transform the lives of our people. You cannot defeat a rigged system by playing by its rules; you only legitimise your own oppression by participating in rigged elections so that politicians can get jobs in Parliament and councils that rarely deliver anything meaningful. SADC or any other political body will never intervene unless you give them a reason to. Why should we expect them to act when the opposition tragically failed to use the last scathing SADC report, which clearly called for reforms? I have confirmed with two SADC presidents; Zimbabwe is not even on any agenda. So why should we expect a different election outcome when we remain silent for the entire term, only to bring out begging bowls in 2027/28 for yet another futile election? As we speak, Zimbabwe has no united or structured opposition movement. It only has snake oil salesmen pursuing individual political projects. Until there is a united front, do not waste your time on predetermined outcomes! For once, let us pretend to be a nation with some educated and wise people and not waste our time on useless things! No Reforms, equals No elections!!!! Without reforms, we lose the legitimacy of crying over rigged elections, because we did nothing between 2013 and 2018, did nothing again between 2018 and 2023, and are doing nothing about reforms now. One man or woman cannot and will never bring change; their limitations become the nation’s limitations. That is why Zimbabwe needs a movement, one that pushes for reforms and unites efforts against corrupt rule. I still hear the words of a senior Commonwealth election observer during the 2023 Zimbabwe elections: “I have covered more than 50 elections. I have never seen an opposition that did everything possible to make sure it didn’t win like in Zimbabwe. They lack strategy and behaving as if they are in a normal election where there is no cheating. They don’t even have election agents at all polling stations, it is crazy,” they said. Nothing has changed. I have always maintained that if a nation’s future is determined by one man or woman, that person’s limitations become the entire nation’s limitations, that is why a united front with many ideas is imperative. Zimbabwe needs a movement—one that focuses on the electoral reforms outlined in the SADC observer report, one that unites the people, and one that is led collectively, not like a family tuckshop called Zuruvi and Sons. We cannot keep blaming South Africa for endorsing stolen elections when we have failed to organise, mobilise, and push for the reforms needed to protect the people’s vote. A people that fail to demand reforms but queue to vote in rigged elections are not victims of tyranny, they are accomplices in their own betrayal.

. Dan Bongino explains there are people within the administration working against Trump and his agenda. They are gearing up for their own political runs. That much is clear. He makes a very important point here, why are all the leaks specifically designed to push the narrative that Trump doesn’t control his own administration? That is not a leftist talking point because the left doesn’t care if he controls the administration or not all they care about is dunking on the administration. This is a talking point from the walk right because the woke Wright wants to remake the Republican Party and remake the agenda the way they do that is by pretending like when Trump tells you this is his agenda. He doesn’t really mean it because he’s just not powerful enough to stand up to whoever’s running the show. They say this without an iota of proof, and then they leaked stories that make it more plausible for you to believe that, even though every single one of these stories blows up in their face. Who are the leakers? A lot of people have a lot of great ideas as to who they really are based on the money movement and the campaigns that are being prepared for takeoff as soon as possible for the 2028 election cycle. I have learned this year that politics is the single dirtiest most disgusting game that exists, and the lengths to which people will go will shock you and I am a person who is already jaded about the entire political arena. That being said, this is still the single greatest country in the world, and we have to fight for the agenda that we voted for and not give up.

🚨IS STARMER COMPROMISED? FROM FREE SPEECH DEFENDER TO JAILING PEOPLE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS 🤔🔒 What Happened To The Uk Prime Minister And Why His Stance On Social Media Arrests Flipped So Dramatically In 2012, as Director of Public Prosecutions, Keir Starmer proudly declared himself a guardian of free speech. In that now-infamous video he insisted: “Where a communication is merely offensive... principles of free speech require a high threshold, and dictate that a prosecution is unlikely to be in the public interest.” Today, Prime Minister Starmer presides over a regime that has racked up around 12,000 arrests tied solely to social media posts. The numbers are so grotesque that even Russia and China suddenly look like bastions of free speech by comparison. The hypocrisy is breathtaking. Many on X are no longer asking politely — they’re outright declaring that Starmer has been compromised. Whether it’s political cowardice, shadowy external influence, or naked authoritarian instinct, the man who once set a high bar for prosecution now jails people for hurting feelings online. He still trots out the same tired lines about “protecting children” and preventing disorder after the 2024 riots. But the latest escalation is his determined push for brand-new laws specifically targeting “Islamophobic” content. Critics say this is not about hate — it’s about criminalising legitimate public concern and dissent over mass migration, the rapid demographic changes, growing Islamic influence in public life, grooming gang scandals that were long ignored, and the general state of the country. What many see as valid political criticism and free debate is now being re-labelled as illegal “Islamophobia” to shut it down. What started as emergency measures after unrest has quietly morphed into a broader, relentless expansion of censorship dressed up in ever-changing justifications. The old Keir is nowhere to be seen. The contrast is damning.

The DA's Dangerous Political Conditioning Strategy is in play | A Caution to Our Black Leaders and the Black Population in South Africa as Coalition Discussions are in full swing to form our new government The Black population must recognize this strategy for what it is—a dangerous political conditioning aimed at destroying the unity of Ubuntu among the Black majority. Be cautious of narratives that seek to undermine our collective power and unity. The ANC, MK, and EFF collectively have 10.4 million votes, 65%, representing the black majority population in the 2024 election giving them a combined 256 of the 400 seats in the National Assembly. If every vote counts, how can the 10.4 million votes of Black voters who chose Black-led parties to govern South Africa, be overlooked in the selection of our government and president? Why is the DA, with only 3.5 million votes, 21.8% largely from the white minority, given so much power by business and media to dictate the terms, conditions, and structure of our government? When did the 10.4 million Black voters, who chose the ANC, MK, and EFF, grant permission to outsource their votes to the DA or amongst political parties they did not vote for, allowing them to dictate how our government is formed and who should be our next President? The DA's dangerous political conditioning strategy to keep the ANC, MK and EFF out of "power" is currently in play for coalitions. Social conditioning is the process by which people in a society are trained to think, believe, feel, want, and react in a way approved by influential groups within that society. The "Doomsday Coalition" is one of the DA’s political strategies for this election, aimed at convincing the Black population that only the DA, a white-led minority political party, is capable of governing South Africa. Their primary goal has been to entice the Black majority to vote for the DA or one of its MPC partners, such as ActionSA and the IFP, along with allies like BOSA and Rise Mzansi. Failing that, if the ANC, MK, and EFF do achieve a majority in the elections to create a new government at the exclusion of the DA, the DA's "Doomsday Coalition" campaign was crafted to condition black voters for the DA to take control of the coalition discussions and dictate the terms for the formation of our new government. This is done through persistent political framing, suggesting that any Black-led dominant political party that threatens DA leadership is led by thieves who have destroyed South Africa. The more powerful a black leader is the greater the threat to the white-led DA and the more intense the political strategy to portray him as corrupt and dangerous to South Africa. This "Doomsday Coalition" strategy was strategically crafted and deployed through media, social media releases and mentioned in public speeches, creating a social phenomenon that implies only a white-led party can prevent the so-called "doomsday coalition" of the ANC, MK, and the violent EFF which aims to position the DA as the sole capable guardian of South Africa's future and destroy the credibility of the ANC, MK and EFF to make it impossible for these three parties to form one government. An example of how the DA used Political Framing is evident in Helen Zille's Statement Listen carefully to the political framing used by Helen Zille during her appearance on Newsroom Afrika on 30 May 2024 before the votes were counted, she said: 1. "The DA's job is to keep out the doomsday coalition of the ANC, MK, and EFF. 2. The DA will put South Africa's interest first 3. and it is in South Africa's interest that the DA grows and thrives to eventually become the biggest party in South Africa 4. because that is the only way to defend the constitution, defend the rule of law, and grow the economy. 5. So it is in South Africa's interest for the DA to flourish and prevent South Africa from falling into the hands of the people who are going to destroy it." Let's unpack the Key Elements of the DA's Political Framing: 1. Defining the Opposition: "The DA's job is to keep out the doomsday coalition of the ANC, MK, and EFF." Zille frames the ANC, MK, and EFF as a "doomsday coalition," implying that their governance would lead to catastrophic outcomes for South Africa. This negative framing between the DA and these Black-led parties, portrays the latter as a threat to the nation's well-being. 2. Positioning the DA as the Savior: "The DA will put South Africa's interest first." By claiming that the DA prioritizes South Africa's interests, Zille positions her party as the selfless protector of the nation. This positive framing seeks to build trust and credibility among voters, particularly within the Black population, to whom the DA's appeal has traditionally been limited. 3. Future Vision and Urgency: "It is in South Africa's interest that the DA grows and thrives to eventually become the biggest party in South Africa." This statement emphasizes the need for the DA's expansion and success as crucial for the country's future. It suggests that only a strong DA can ensure the protection of national interests. 4. Guardianship of Key Values: "Because that is the only way to defend the constitution, defend the rule of law, and grow the economy." Zille invokes core democratic values and economic growth, implying that these can only be safeguarded under DA leadership. This framing appeals to voters' concerns about stability, justice, and prosperity, painting the DA as the guardian of these essential elements. 5. Fear Appeal: "Prevent South Africa from falling into the hands of the people who are going to destroy it." The use of fear is evident in this statement. By suggesting that the ANC, MK, and EFF would "destroy" South Africa, Zille aims to instill a sense of urgency and danger, motivating and preparing the public to support the DA as a defensive measure against perceived threats. What is the the Impact of the Political Framing used by the DA: 6. Psychological Influence: This framing leverages psychological tactics such as fear, hope, and the appeal to higher values to sway voter opinion. By repeatedly associating the DA with positive outcomes and the ANC, MK and EFF with dire negative consequences, the DA hopes to condition voters to perceive them as the only viable option. 7. Social Conditioning: Zille's framing attempts to reshape societal perceptions and beliefs. It aims to create a social consensus that only the DA can save South Africa, thereby undermining the unity and influence of Black-led parties. 8. Reinforcement of Narrative: The framing reinforces the narrative that Black-led parties are incapable of effective governance and are a danger to the nation. This aims to weaken the unity of the Black majority and their confidence in their chosen leaders, aligning with the DA's broader strategy to disrupt the unity of Ubuntu among the Black population. In conclusion, Helen Zille's statement is a clear example of the DA's political framing strategy, designed to manipulate public perception and consolidate power by leveraging fear, positioning the DA as the protector of national interests, and discrediting Black-led opposition parties. This framing serves the broader objective of weakening the unity and influence of the Black majority in South Africa's political landscape. Warning: The Black population must recognize this strategy for what it is—a dangerous political conditioning aimed at destroying the unity of Ubuntu among the Black majority. Be cautious of narratives that seek to undermine our collective power and unity.
