Gachagua Vows to Make Ruto a One-Term President Former DP Rigathi Gachagua on Monday swore to do whatever it takes to make President William Ruto a one-term president. Speaking alongside opposition politicians Kalonzo Musyoka and Eugene Wamalwa, Gachagua declared that he will work with all Kenyans to challenge Ruto’s administration and ensure the president doesn’t see a second term in office. He lashed out at Ruto’s government, calling it a dictatorship and accusing the president of being intolerant. "He wants his way, and all those ministers are just flower girls," Gachagua said, adding that he was the only one who could stand up to Ruto. Gachagua has repeatedly criticized Ruto’s administration since his ouster through impeachment in October 2024. He decried the government as a “one-man show,” claiming ministers have been reduced to mere sycophants. He called on Kenyans to rise against Ruto and warned that any reckless statements made by Ruto or his officials should be documented and forwarded to the International Criminal Court. The former DP has also been forging alliances with political figures he previously opposed. The silent majority — shopkeepers, workers, parents, foreigners who actually live here — just wanted the city to function again. We organised by district through WhatsApp and WeChat groups. After every night of chaos we were on the streets at 5am: clearing bricks, sweeping glass, tearing down barricades, washing slogans off walls. Ordinary people restoring their own neighbourhoods before the shops opened. I was one of them, in a green T-shirt, cleaning with friends. Rioters spotted us, started throwing stones and chased us for several blocks. I had a few other close calls. They never dared face anyone one-to-one. Cowards who only felt brave in a mob, behind masks, with Western cameras rolling. That is the part most people never heard: while the world was shown burning MTR stations, residents were already putting the city back together at dawn. If the agenda on the table is to flaunt their anti-Hindu credentials, the MPs of the I.N.D.I. Alliance wear it like a badge of honour. All the loud talk of Constitutional rights is nothing but rhetoric for this group. And now, moving an impeachment motion against a Judge, despite an appeal already filed by the TN DMK Govt before the Honourable Supreme Court, reveals nothing but a desperate attempt to feed their politics of minority appeasement. What purpose does this political drama serve, except signalling that the rule of law is secondary to vote-bank politics? Are they also sending a message to our country that if the I.N.D.I. Alliance doesn’t like any Judge’s verdict, they will use the impeachment process as a tool to threaten the judiciary into submission? What can be a greater threat to the Constitution than this? Before Rory Stewart decided to become a leftist he once offered an absolutely amazing defence of traditional British culture and the romantic High Tory tradition. Everyone should watch this to understand why it is so sad that traditional British culture is being swept away by the mass demographic displacement unleashed by the Boriswave. How on Earth someone like Rory Stewart could spend so much of his life thinking like this before ultimately deciding one day that mass demographic displacement and the resultant cultural alienation it produces was fine is a complete mystery. What he outlines here is an emotional attachment to place, country, ancestry. National stewardship. Something passed down through the generations. Completely eviscerated and destroyed by a post-national political class with an intense sense of shame, guilt and self-loathing for the crime of having been born British. A political and media class completely blinded to its own hardcore adherence to a set of unquestioned political and cultural assumptions about the world that would have been utterly bizarre and alien to the vast majority of human beings throughout the entire history of humanity. A set of political and cultural assumptions that ultimately seem to boil down to the core idea that foreigners are more morally deserving of the British patrimony than the actual descendants of the British. Therefore wanting to maintain any level of cultural continuity with Britain as it has actually existence for more than one thousand years is racist. Just stunning that Rory could once think like this and yet decide he now doesn’t care about migration. And truly stunning that this immense national inheritance, an amazing gift passed down through the generations for one thousand years, has been squandered within like 25 years of misgovernment.

Everyone should watch this to understand why it is so sad that traditional British culture is being swept away by the mass demographic displacement unleashed by the Boriswave. How on Earth someone like Rory Stewart could spend so much of his life thinking like this before ultimately deciding one day that mass demographic displacement and the resultant cultural alienation it produces was fine is a complete mystery. What he outlines here is an emotional attachment to place, country, ancestry. National stewardship. Something passed down through the generations. Completely eviscerated and destroyed by a post-national political class with an intense sense of shame, guilt and self-loathing for the crime of having been born British. A political and media class completely blinded to its own hardcore adherence to a set of unquestioned political and cultural assumptions about the world that would have been utterly bizarre and alien to the vast majority of human beings throughout the entire history of humanity. A set of political and cultural assumptions that ultimately seem to boil down to the core idea that foreigners are more morally deserving of the British patrimony than the actual descendants of the British. Therefore wanting to maintain any level of cultural continuity with Britain as it has actually existence for more than one thousand years is racist. Just stunning that Rory could once think like this and yet decide he now doesn’t care about migration. And truly stunning that this immense national inheritance, an amazing gift passed down through the generations for one thousand years, has been squandered within like 25 years of misgovernment.

In this case, as the removal of a regime rather than the affirmation of a specific economic system. Because the ANC had deferred the development of a concrete economic policy, when it inherited the state in 1994, it didn’t have a solid economic model that could withstand international market pressure and IMF/World Bank influence. The rest is history. This “anything but this” logic didn’t stay confined to the ANC’s leadership, though. Three decades later, it has become the default mindset of the voters themselves, in the form of negative voting. The 2024 general election outcome, which forced the creation of the Government of National Unity, is a classic example of this mentality. Sections of the public, fed up with the ANC, were desperate to “vote it out” and constantly encouraged other voters to “vote for anyone but the ANC”, instead of voting *for* something specific. So, just like the ANC in the ’80s and ’90s, 2024 was dictated by what South Africans were desperate to destroy rather than what they were organised to build. Until this changes, the outcome will continuously default to more compromise and more stagnation.

Yesterday, at the Senate plenary, I voted NO to the proviso that has the capacity of whittling down the mandatory electronic transmission of election results from the polling units in Form EC8A. As I have explained severally, this proviso adds nothing to the law but has the capacity to be misused, misunderstood, and used to undermine electoral integrity and transparency. My view is that INEC has already explained that it has the capacity to transmit election results in over 90% of polling units. Therefore, I feel it is the duty of INEC, once we make it mandatory, to come up with guidelines and regulations that will stipulate strict conditions for the few cases where presiding officers may not be able to transmit electronically as a result of communication failure; and these, from the last INEC report, cannot be more than 7%. My view, therefore, is that we should leave it for INEC to handle through its regulations and guidelines. The law should only make provision for mandatory electronic transmission, which we have done, and we should stop there. Hence, I voted yesterday, galvanised opinions, and also joined in voting NO to the inclusion of the proviso. Unfortunately, as I have said, the majority is determined to utilise its numbers, and they did so effectively. In a democracy, the majority has its way, but the minority will have its say. I believe that the majority should be used for the national good and not otherwise. It is now left for INEC to stipulate strict conditions for the admission of election results not transmitted electronically. It is also for the courts to bear in mind the general good when interpreting this section to promote electoral integrity and transparency. As I have said, the citizens must not give up. They should organise and support candidates and parties that promote and respect democratic norms, and organise and mobilise against candidates and parties that do otherwise. Tomorrow is an important day. We are anticipating a historic conclusion from the European Union—a report on Ukraine's implementation of the European Commission's recommendations. And we are already planning our next steps following this report. Our legislative efforts and the strengthening of state institutions. Ukraine has already come a long way toward stronger ties with the European Union. We are fully aware that EU membership relies on a political decision shared by all EU members that want to see a new state join, but it also relies on the candidate state itself and its work to approximate and adapt EU standards and community norms. Ukraine will join the EU. And we will achieve this, in particular, as a result of our state's internal transformation that is completely consistent with the interests of our people. The EU represents economic security and social stability for Ukraine, and Ukraine represents the strengthening of the entire EU community. And it is critical that the Ukrainian parliament continues to support the legislative efforts required for our European integration.

This is a talking point from the walk right because the woke Wright wants to remake the Republican Party and remake the agenda the way they do that is by pretending like when Trump tells you this is his agenda. They say this without an iota of proof, and then they leaked stories that make it more plausible for you to believe that, even though every single one of these stories blows up in their face. Who are the leakers? A lot of people have a lot of great ideas as to who they really are based on the money movement and the campaigns that are being prepared for takeoff as soon as possible for the 2028 election cycle. I have learned this year that politics is the single dirtiest most disgusting game that exists, and the lengths to which people will go will shock you and I am a person who is already jaded about the entire political arena.
