But here's what went wrong and why she rejected him. Approaching from behind startled her. And the second someone feels startled their nervous system goes into defense mode. She's not thinking about whether she's attracted to you. She's thinking about whether she's safe. You lost her before you said a single word. Always approach from the front or the side. Give her the chance to see you coming. That alone changes the entire energy of the interaction. The second mistake was over validating her. Telling a woman she's beautiful before she's said a single word puts her on a pedestal. Now she knows you want her approval before she's done anything to earn your interest. That's not attractive. That's validation she didn't work for. Lead with genuine curiosity instead. Make her feel interesting not just pretty. The approach itself took courage. The execution just needed work. And that's exactly what practice is for. Not every approach is going to land. But every approach teaches you something if you're paying attention.
