If he as a producer is going to sell it for 5200 per crate by doing the delivery to lagos himself and removing end point retailer, then i won't fight d retailer or final point of sale vendor who sells for 5500 to 6k. If they buy from him at around 5k and bear all the cost he has borne then ofcus they are in d biz to make profit. Other prices of the stuffs that go into the egg production need to go down b4 egg price can go down. But of cus we know that in Nigeria, no price goes up and ever comes down.

In 2015, I bought maize at N75/kg, today same maize is N650/kg, that's 766% increase. Maize and Soya constitutes 75% of chicken feed and the price keeps going up astronomically. To bring down price of eggs, those items must come down. @SenatorAKyari @hayateey1

Whats ur point? All these talks yet u refuse to call out the spade. U know who's causing the price increase but u won't call out the government.

All talks , no solutions .... Everyone has PhD in analysing the problems. If it cost so much to bring it to Lagos , just sell it to the neighboring towns and villages.

This one is dvmb. He thinks a distributor buying at N5200 and selling at N6000 is making a lot profit for a risky item like eggs? Check the cost of transportation and you see he is not making up to N500 per crate (10%). Woe betide him if some or all break and capital is gone
