Our saviours are becoming our perpetrators. Makes me remember that time when I was in Ladakh coming back alone from Pangong and just before Changla Pass realized that the taxi driver was an exhibitionist. He reduced his speed to 10 kmph for almost 1 hour constantly looking back through rear-view mirror. I didn’t have any phone network and not a single other vehicle in sight. It was almost night. Keeping calm, fortunately I saw an Army establishment and asked him to stop on the pretext of using the washroom. Got down and explained everything to the official on duty there. After that I didn’t see that taxi driver and was brought to Leh in an Army vehicle at around 3am. I have no ways to pay back our IA for innumerable such instances where they went out of their way to protect me while I travelled to off-beat locales. I feel the safest when I see a man in OG. This incident and that of many others is actually heartbreaking to watch and hear.

@TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak @gauravcsawant Very well spoken Tiny! You have potently put issue in perspective. As citizens of India, irrespective of age, gender, caste, MUST feel safe in police station. We must have confidence in approaching policeman that he/she is a friend of the people! A beginning is imperative..

@gauravcsawant @TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak They Will They Do JAI HIND 🇮🇳

@TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak @gauravcsawant Very valid question that demands action.

The question raised by @TinyDhillon is indeed important and thought-provoking, addressing concerns about safety and trust, even for high-ranking officials' families in sensitive areas like an Army camp. It's a challenge for the concerned authorities, like @DGPOdisha and @panda_sanjeeb, to respond with assurance and transparency, given the gravity of the issue. Ensuring safety and confidence in such environments is crucial, not just for officers' families but for everyone. The public deserves clear communication and proactive measures from law enforcement and defense officials alike.

@TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak @gauravcsawant Sir she is Major daughter...She is very powerful.

@TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak @gauravcsawant An army Jeep with jawans passed our stalled car, late night somewhere near jog falls, they didn't know us, they gave us a petrol Jerry can, helped us, followed us till we reached the hotel and didn't even take money for the fuel. This is our Indian Army.

@TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak @gauravcsawant The DGP is not worth his salt and so is the Police Service. Better to remove the uniform and hang it someplace else. You don’t deserve the forces respect henceforth Mr Sanjeeb Panda

@TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak @gauravcsawant Completely agree with @TinyDhillon Sir. Its not just about SP rank officer and Army Camp. Even if 2 army personals enter in a train standing in jungle, 200 passengers feel safe.

@TinyDhillon @DGPOdisha @panda_sanjeeb @aajtak @gauravcsawant Response is required!!!
