@therealkapildev @vikrantgupta73 My idol in Cricket Kapil Paaji. An extraordinary Cricketer and still a humble human being on and off the field.Fortunate to get his Autograph during his playing days just after he broke Sir Hadlee record of most Test Wickets when he got 434 Wickets.

@therealkapildev @vikrantgupta73 Genuinely passionate and unselfish cricketer. Had immense belief in himself and his ability. Loved the game and gave his everything for the country. Never indulged in the politics of Indian cricket, but always upright and never compromised his self respect. Very rare individual

@therealkapildev @vikrantgupta73 Kapil is an AH he was instrumental in dropping many a good players more of a politician than a player. When Salim Malik was smashing him in the 87 ODI series he let Chetan Sharma take the pain. So was the 86 Sharjah when Chetan Sharma bowled the fatal last over.

Merv Hughes bowled a killer bouncer to Kapil Dev. Kapil moved back to protect his head, and the bail fell off in the wind. Hughes appealed, but Kapil Dev didn’t walk. Frustrated, Hughes called him a cheater. Kapil’s reply came with the bat a stunning cover drive first, followed by a classic Nataraj shot 🥶 And don’t miss Gavaskar using his underwear as a helmet in the background! 😂

Thank you, Kapil Dev Sir, for standing up for these voiceless souls and lending your powerful voice to theirs. You have always been a voice for them — a true champion on the ground and a hero off it as well. Your compassion gives them hope, dignity, and a chance at life. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and courage. Kapil Dev #dogs

In 2018, Kapil Sharma was under severe depression. He produced a movie (Firangi) and it flopped. Kapil lost more than 30 crores and he lost all his money which he had earned in last 10-12 Years. He started drinking which led to cancellation of his Comedy shows. A Journalist (Vicky Lalwani) started writing negative articles on Kapil Sharma. Kapil sharma lost his temper and called the journalist. The rest is history!! Hear the recording between Kapil and Journalist!! I bet you will love it!!

In 2000, Kapil Dev held firm through tough questions on HardTalk, but broke down when asked if history might remember him as someone accused of match-fixing. His sudden tears and emotional collapse created a powerful, unforgettable television moment. Kapil Dev - “I will commit suicide before that rather than taking bribe from somebody. Take all my money, I don't want it. I come from a family where pride is the most important thing.”

Kapil Dev had zero faith in his No. 11, so he did the unthinkable. 😳 Lord's. 1990. 9 wickets down. 24 runs needed to save the follow-on, most players would buckle under the "pressure". Knowing No. 11 Narendra Hirwani wouldn't survive long, Kapil Paji took matters into his own hands. He smashed 4 consecutive sixes, saved the follow-on, and on the very next over Hirwani got out. Kapil Dev later admitted he defended first two bowls so that england players come inside the circle so that he can play his shots🤯 Absolute elite match awareness. 🔥

In the final of the World Championship of Cricket 1985, Kapil Dev delivered a superb opening spell: 7–1–17–3. He was on a hat-trick after dismissing Mudassar Nazar and Qasim Umar off consecutive balls. Look out for that inswinging yorker, probably the ball of the tournament.

Vicky Lalwani (Bollywood Reporter): "There's a film (Dhurandhar) released recently which is declared massive hit but in reality it's flop, I have seen collection poster being made days before the release of this film In producers office" Vicky Lalwani is the same person who wrote various defaming Articles against Kapil Sharma when he was under depression. Kapil Sharma called him and updated his software. Do you want the recording of Kapil and Lalwani?

Kapil Dev aged into Honour Imran Khan aged into Confinement. That contrast will haunt the record books far longer than any political verdict. Because long after governments change, and headlines fade, there will still be one undeniable truth: A country is judged not by how loudly it celebrates its heroes at their peak, but by how humanely it treats them when they are at their weakest. And today, Imran Khan’s silence from behind bars speaks louder than any speech he ever gave. Today, no Pakistani players say anything about him or support him. Earlier the Cricketing story in Pakistan used to revolve around him. Not in disagreement. Not in criticism. But in forgetting. A nation can oppose a leader without humiliating a legend. A country can argue with politics without erasing history. But when a World Cup–winning captain is reduced to a prisoner, treated not as a symbol of national pride but as a problem to be silenced, something far deeper has broken. Now Sir Kapil Dev Kapil Dev’s story did not end when the applause faded. Years passed. Records were broken. New idols emerged. Yet India never pushed Kapil Dev into silence. He always gets respect. He is remembered as the man who gave India belief before money, leagues, and global fame arrived. He was allowed to live freely, speak openly and disagree without fear. When Kapil Dev walks into a stadium today he does not need an introduction. The respect rises before the applause. India understood something vital: A hero’s greatest contribution doesn’t expire with time.

Delhi: When asked about his opinion on Cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Former Indian Cricketer Kapil Dev says, "I think he is a special talent, but he has to go a long way. There is no doubt that at such a young age, the way he has performed in club cricket shows his ability. He just needs to focus on himself because he has a long journey ahead. At the moment, I think we are putting too much pressure on him."
