How many sandwiches can you help provide today? Donate here: Every day, The Sameer Project kitchen is working to keep families fed in conditions where access to food is still extremely limited. The daily operational cost is around $8,500-$9,000 - covering ingredients, cooking, packaging, and distribution so meals can reach those who are hungry and malnourished. Each sandwich costs less than $3 to prepare and distribute - like the kofta sandwiches you see here! A full day at capacity can produce 3,000 sandwiches to be given out to hungry families in need of assistance. Even a small contribution is a meal for a child, a parent, and elder, someone who didn’t know where their next food would come from. 🎥 #MyTentInTheRain This morning, I woke up to find the rain inside my tent… everything was soaked, not a single dry spot left 🥺 We filmed a video so people can see how we’re living under the rain, with no cover to protect the tent and nothing to stop the water. We need a plastic cover for the tent and urgent maintenance so we don’t get flooded every time it rains. Flour, yeast, salt. You don’t need much. And the hearty warmth of a hot clay oven. Then you have bread. The most important food staple for Palestinians. Support: At the peak of the famine, men, women, and children were all risking their lives to travel to aid distribution sites to collect just a little flour, enough to feed their families for a day. We saw 25kg bags being sold for $3,000 each. People lost limbs and lives to get wheat flour to help their families live another day. And now The Sameer Project will provide this service, making and giving out leaves of bread, of course for free. People don’t even have the 3 shekels required for a bag of bread. Help us bake it and distribute it for free!
