Trained plumbers in some 3rd world shithole

If I see a "trained plumber" doing something like this in my house they get fired on the spot.

A trained plumber would get a repair connector and do an actual repair, not a hack job like shown here. SharkByte fittings or compression fittings meet plumbing codes, this would just get you laughed off the job.

or just

No. Don’t do this unless you’re stuck on an deserted island and can’t get parts.

God damn this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen, but you'll have to scroll past countless blue check replies to see the actual reactions.

What's wrong with hitting it with a baseball bat instead?

As a trained plumber, we'd stop the flow of water first... Then use an actual solvent weld fitting, available in every hardware shop for a few pence.

If you pay a plumber and he does whatever the hell that was, you’re legally allowed to beat his ass

I'm so sick of getting these stupid fucking life hack videos rec'd to me. The next one will be some retard wrapping a gunshot wound in aluminum foil or some stupid fucking silliness that anyone with a modicum of common sense would never do.

A trained plumber would just get a connecting joint, he would also turn off the water before work.

Trained plumbers turn the water off before making a repair, we don't use tape to make a repair, and we wouldn't use thin wall PVC on a water supply. Cool story though.

I personally stand by the burning cut up pipe method

Are you fucking retarded

Sorry, a trained plumber wouldn't repair a joint like that. Especially using electrical tape on a pipe.

Huh. Usually cutting the end to bits, lighting it on fire, and mashing it into the other pipe with running water works great. Not sure what this guy did wrong.

Some day someone will come to his house to strongly complain about why he shows such a bad demonstration in the beginning

Ok so RED FLAG Did not turn off water before working. NOW you have a bigger mess to clean up. ALSO like many others have stated, why are no connectors being used? If I was a paying customer, and seen my plumbing company do this, i would fire them and find new company.
