🇷🇺 First confirmed destruction of an Israeli Drone Dome system in the SMO zone At 30 seconds into the video, the system is seen destroyed along with its command post, which was hiding in a garage. Irony of fate: the anti-drone system was taken out by a drone. The Israeli-made Drone Dome is a counter-drone system designed to detect, track, and neutralize UAVs using electronic warfare and laser interception. Developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, it’s a key part of Israel’s air defense capabilities. Despite Israel’s official stance of neutrality, Israeli military technology has found its way to Ukraine, likely via third-party deals. The Drone Dome’s presence suggests Kiev is seeking advanced anti-drone defenses against Russian UAVs, which have played a crucial role in the conflict. This marks a significant blow to Ukraine’s counter-drone efforts and raises questions about the silent transfer of Israeli defense tech to the battlefield.

Japan’s new EC-2 electronic warfare jet that features a prominent platypus nose, makes its first flight. The Japanese Air Force released the first official images of the EC-2 electronic warfare aircraft based on the Kawasaki C-2 transport. The program plans four EC-2 stand-off jammer aircraft aimed at replacing the single Kawasaki EC-1 electronic warfare aircraft introduced in 1986. Designed to jam enemy radar and communications from long range, the EC-2 can disrupt threats without entering hostile airspace.

China's Jiutian drone mothership. The modular payload allow it to perform a variety of tasks, from launching drone swarms to carrying electronic warfare pods to jam enemy signals. It can even be used in civilian operations such as fighting forest fire or serving as a communication relay during disasters.

🚨🇺🇦🇪🇪🇺🇸 Ukraine’s drone warfare is moving toward a new level of autonomy, as NORDA Dynamics and Palladyne AI join forces to develop autonomous swarms of kamikaze drones. The Ukrainian-Estonian company NORDA Dynamics will integrate Palladyne AI’s SwarmOS collective-autonomy system with its Underdog automatic targeting module. SwarmOS enables groups of drones to autonomously detect and classify moving or stationary targets and assign them among individual strike drones without centralized operator control. Underdog, meanwhile, is designed to ensure precise terminal guidance even under hostile electronic-warfare conditions. With operator authorization, the combined system will allow drone swarms to autonomously locate and engage ground or maritime targets. The integration points toward a major evolution in Ukrainian unmanned warfare: shifting from individually controlled strike drones toward coordinated autonomous formations capable of operating despite electronic warfare and degraded communications. Systems like this could significantly increase the speed, scale and resilience of drone attacks while keeping the human operator responsible for authorizing engagement.
