Thomas Jefferson was fearful of the judiciary. In the Madison papers he stated that the third branch of government- the judiciary - should be the weakest of the three. His fear was that the judiciary would become tyrannical- blocking and preventing the will of the people who elected The president of the United States! Chief Justice Roberts- in allowing these rogue judges to continue to oppose the will of the people is actually making the judiciary irrelevant!
