The flood affected me so bad that I was traumatised by the sound of rain for days. I couldn’t go to the office or attend some meetings. Disappointed clients! My son couldn’t also go to school for a whole week, and the time he managed to go, we had to go drop and pick him by walking through the water that wasn’t flowing. The days I was able to go out or it’s important to, I had to follow trailers and trucks just to cross the water. No bike, no bolt or anything to come around. My car was also badly damaged by water because I drove it through the water. In fact, I spent so much that I got angry yesterday when I was asked to pay another money to fix something again that was damaged by water. We had to buy a pumping or draining machine to start draining the water into the coastal road drainage which became a waste of money and effort because the rain was just back to back. My plan is now to just move out of this location, despite having 8months lefts in rent, to a better on, free from flood and stagnant waters.

Chinese Swarm Drone Systems: 48 and 96 Drones Some time ago, I wrote about the evolution of autonomous systems and how only the Chinese were truly making progress in this field. After starting serial production of the Swarm-2, which features 48 drones and real-time tracking, they are now testing a version with 96 drones. These are divided into three categories: reconnaissance, jamming, and attack. Each drone can carry a variety of payloads, including electro-optical reconnaissance, strike munitions, and relay communications. They can be flexibly combined into different operational groupings, forming multifunctional swarms capable of complex missions. These drones have an individual range of 15 to 50 km, but the manufacturer claims that by maintaining a swarm network communication, this range is significantly extended. This strongly reinforces what we discussed a while back: that future wars will be dominated by drone systems that will severely delay any ground troop advancement, as already evidenced by the conflict in Ukraine.

What a delight! Ukrainian sea drones strike Russia’s “shadow fleet” Ukrainian media report that SBU Sea Baby maritime drones hit Russian tankers from the so-called “shadow fleet” in the Black Sea. It is claimed to be a joint operation by the SBU and Ukraine’s Naval Forces. Footage of the attack has already appeared online. And that’s not all! Russian oil exports through Novorossiysk have been completely halted — the drones disabled one of the key terminals of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium. The CPC confirmed that the single-point mooring system used for loading oil was seriously damaged after the night attack. No casualties were reported: protection systems shut off the pipeline in time, so according to preliminary information, there was no leak. The company says the facility can no longer operate, and tankers have already left the terminal area.

The drone was spotted over several Moldovan settlements, inluding the city of Bălți, flying as deep as 50 kilometers into the country's airspace. The incident was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Moldova, which noted in its statement that the Shahed disappeared and reappeared on the radar a number of times.

Systems created from racism cannot be reformed. That is why we keep seeing the same thing happen over and over again… with police and with ICE. An unarmed Black man, in Milwaukee, was shot in the head three times after being tased and restrained by five officers. Meanwhile, just 80 miles away, a white man was actively on top of a police officer, assaulting him… and was taken into custody without being shot. We have seen this same disparity play out over and over again. And we will continue to see this happen because… American policing is deeply rooted in systems created to control and hunt down Black populations... and ICE was created from a system rooted in racial exclusion, and the criminalization of immigrants. And we see the consequences of that history every single day. The problem is not just a few bad officers/agents, or a lack of training. The problem is not just that the wrong person was hired… These systems were built on racism. They were built to use state violence against certain people. You cannot reform a system whose foundation is rotten. You cannot train racism out of a system created by racism. You cannot reform your way out of a structure that is operating how it was designed to operate. At some point, we have to stop asking how to make these systems work better… And we have to start asking why we keep defending systems that were never designed to protect people in the first place.
