yall charged a extra 3k for venue 14 days before the show on top of the initial price. What does alleged ticket sales have anything to do with yall esp if you got the money u wanted 2 times. And how was the population a concern when its was bookoo folks at other lo in 4hr notice.

We worked with this crew 2x before and their artists managed to do ≈$1000 in equipment damage *both* times. We told them we weren't comfortable doing another show without paying more for security to protect the gear, they agreed. 40 tickets wasn't going to cover that cost though

And it wasn't an extra $3k. Our fee was ≈3k all in. They may have paid more to their copromoter, wdk. What do you think staffing costs in a room this size? It isn't cheap. If the show had gone on here with so few people, there wouldve been nothing for the artists to get paid.

And if you want to know, both times in those previous shows we did with these guys, the equipment damage was too many motherfuckers on stage jumping on the stage monitors and putting their feet through the speaker cones on those expensive PA monitor speakers. True story.

The extra security was to keep motherfuckers off the stage. You might say, if it was only 40 people or maybe 100 with walk up, we wouldn't have needed the security - but you know what? Every one of those people was going to try to get up on stage and do their best Xaviersobased

Oh, and to address your other point -- the show when they moved it to a warehouse benefited from a massive hype wave and eyeballs on their shit, which came directly out of calling us "racist" on social media, which got reposted and shared all over the place. Hype sells tickets.
