A video appeared in Russian Telegram channels showing Russian soldiers being punished for their refusal to go into "meat assaults". The video was reportedly filmed in Kyzyl (Tyva republic of Russia) and shows soldiers of the 55th motor rifle brigade being abused. It is reported that a military policeman, callsign "Mad", beats up two soldiers who refused to take part in suicide assaults after they were wounded from previous combat work. One of them can no longer walk. This is not the first video of such treatment for Russian soldiers that appears online. So that is probably more of a systemic tactics in the Russian army.

It’s funny that the day before, a Kremlin official Patrushev proudly stated that the Russian navy escorted tankers with a military escort right off the coast of England — and not a single British ship even “flinched” to intercept them. Basically: know our strength! Boasting about the fact that your tankers quietly passed through waters where they weren’t going to be touched anyway is, of course, a bit unseemly — but it works for a report. Especially against the backdrop of what we reported earlier: the same fearsome fleet is so afraid of Ukrainian drones that Putin had to cancel the St. Petersburg naval parade for the second year in a row. It’s scary to hold a parade near your own shores — but waving tankers around in foreign waters is fine! Ridiculous. It seems that only the Ukrainian Armed Forces not only are not afraid of Russian ships, but also do not hesitate to send them along a well-known route — straight to the cruiser “Moskva.”

Air intakes and exhausts can't be too long or too close to each other, which will affect the gas turbines' efficiency. It is a technical masterclass for Chinese naval engineers to install the electromagnetic catapult onto a ship of 50,000 tons. In a pinch, they can have a full compliment of carrier airwings. Some claim the ship will only operate drones, that is not entirely correct, the navy is not spending big money on a full length catapult just to launch drones. Our marines on foreign shores need local air superiority provided by J-35s, so there will certainly be some J-35s on regular deployment. Ultimately, this ship represents China's global commitment to peace. The CNS Sichuan will serve as the center of an expeditionary fleet responsible for rapid deployment to hotspots around the world. If our goal is just the Asia Pacific region, they this ships is not needed. Take that however you like, but the fact is, the Chinese century has already begun.
