Earlier this month, we received a report of a driver allegedly brake-checking another vehicle, stopping traffic on 6th Avenue, and then getting out of her Bronco to confront the other driver. Earlier this month, we received a report of a driver allegedly brake-checking another vehicle, stopping traffic on 6th Avenue, and then getting out of her Bronco to confront the other driver. Fortunately, the victim remained calm, safely left the area, and provided our Lakewood Police agents with dash-camera footage of the incident. Our agents investigated, identified the driver of the Bronco, and took her into custody. This is a good reminder that everyone on the road is simply trying to get where they are going. Mistakes happen, and frustrations can build, but a moment of anger is never worth putting yourself or others at risk.
