That must have been a powerful and emotional moment captured on film. History unfolding before their eyes. 🎥

The school project must have seemed so inconsequential at that moment

There's never a time a 9/11 memory doesn't hurt. No matter the perspective, it just hurts remembering the tragedy and loss of amazing people. 😩🕊️

On September 11, 2001, Seth MacFarlane, the creator of the animated TV series "Family Guy," narrowly missed boarding American Airlines Flight 11, one of the planes hijacked by terrorists and flown into the World Trade Center's North Tower. MacFarlane was scheduled to fly from Boston to Los Angeles that morning. He arrived at Boston's Logan International Airport later than planned due to a mix-up with his travel agent and missed the boarding time for American Airlines Flight 11 by just a few minutes. As a result, he was not on board when the plane took off at 7:59 a.m. EDT. Tragically, Flight 11 was one of four commercial airliners hijacked by terrorists that day as part of the coordinated attacks orchestrated by al-Qaeda. The hijackers crashed Flight 11 into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m., killing all 92 people on board and hundreds more in the building.
