Very much like Alaska is part of the USA. 2) The USA does not have any historical claims to Greenland. And there's more to come. The DMI is forecasting -67C (-85.5F) in the days ahead. That would approach the coldest temperature ever recorded in the Northern Hemisphere (the standing record being the -69.6C set on Dec 21, 1991, during the aftermath of the Mount Pinatubo eruption). The polar vortex is intensifying in 2026. And it could be about to produce all-time hemispheric cold.
