That's actually just a sick idea. Minor VFX to mess around with is cool too. And I'm not suggesting anything, but it reminds me of Mario Kart 8's battle mode.

I had this idea too. Players out of the match can still participate to some degree. Placing bumpers around, creating/drawing platforms, being able to pull the direction of Smash Balls, etc. Party Animals had it’s own idea on this.

this is such an insane looking brawl mod i legitimately could not tell which game this was for several minutes, it almost looks like a PC port of smash for 3DS

This is such a cool idea! This could be such a fun side mode if the hands could do stuff like grab players in free fall and help return them to the stage (or move them in front of a player to be), use extremely weak versions of the master hand moves, etc.
