The elevator scene in Captain America The Winter Soldier is good, sure, but the elevator hit in Die Hard with a Vengeance is so much cooler.

In 1945, a B-25 b*mber crashed into the Empire State Building in heavy fog, k*lling 14 people. Elevator operator Betty Lou Oliver survived a 75-story fall after the crash severed the elevator cables and still holds the record for the longest survived elevator fall.

More the Tokyo Skytree elevator failure: •The intercom in the elevator was broken. Stranded people needed to use their mobile phones to call for help. •After 5.5 hours, a steel bridge was set up between its emergency exit and a functioning elevator.

Racist gets punched in the mouth after assaulting a black man A Black man walks up to the elevator with his woman already in the elevator and the Racist blocks the elevator and tells the Black neighbor to get the fuck out. Minutes later the older man is at the front desk whining saying he was assaulted and “you’re gonna pay for this in court.” Public hotel. Shared elevator. One man thought he decides who gets to ride. He wouldn’t allow a couple on the elevator because they were black and he didn’t like how it ended.
