In the 80s and 90s Chinese college students looked up to western news outlets like VOA. I listened to it every day at college, believing that it was doing objective and factual reporting. Now I realize it is a big propaganda machine, excelling at fabricating lies about China.

VOA wasn't worth the money because outside the Western world most people exactly what the US is. $bns of propaganda failed.

VOA contributed to many deaths and mayhem in 3rd world countries. No longer effective but a truly disgraceful disposal this way is still justice !
