Tushar, Co-founder of Multicoin Capital, used to be bearish on Zcash but now he's bullish. "Zcash is a return to crypto's roots. A return to the cypherpunk ideals that crypto was founded on." Bitcoin is censorship resistant. Nobody can freeze it or stop you from using it. But that doesn't stop the state from seizing your known holdings. Wealth taxes, unrealized gains taxes, whatever name they put on it. His thesis: crypto was built as a rebellion against a system being controlled and manipulated. Now it's been co-opted by that same system.
