The rage and what’s underneath it is something not spoken about enough. Thank you Dr. Nicole LePera.

This is so taboo especially for Christians such as myself but it was necessary to go no contact for me & my children's mental health . It's quite isolating to have to do this as a person who truly values family 💔

This type of grief has no solace but it requires acceptance.

To heal the mother wound one must finally come to the realization that their mother is a person, a flawed human being, who more often than not tried to do her best given the circumstances she found herself in.

You won’t truly understand the strength it takes until you go through the journey yourself. You have to separate from people who no longer serve your best interest, sometimes, that even includes family. I’ve said it before, I cut out my parents and my brother. Luckily, my parents responded and changed, but I haven’t spoken to my brother in over three years.

This feels really weird to hear to the thousands of us caring for mothers with advanced dementia who are actually grieving a real loss.

Thank you for sharing this video!, a lot of people grew up with a sick mother and it's like being a homeless person. The feeling of sadness is real because you never had and you will never have the love that you deserve ☠️🏡

Interesting, on my own journey when I started to do some inner work it went how you described: First rage and then grief.
