The driver tried to move it away from the station to prevent a bigger explosion, but it left a trail of fire down the road. Several vehicles were burned and there was damage nearby. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, 3 people were injured.

🚨 Tucson Fire was dispatched to a dumpster fire at 1750 North Sabino Canyon Road at 6:09 this evening. Engine 9 arrived five minutes later and reported heavy, black smoke in the area and discovered a large fuel tank on fire near a private landfill. The call was updated to a HAZMAT response and nearby Udall Park was evacuated as a precaution due to the location of the fire. Crews faced challenges extinguishing this fire because of the location and nearby electrical equipment. The fire was called under control at 7:49 and crews were able to contain damage to the area. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
