She didn’t know the difference between credit limit and credit debt So the higher the bill would rise, the better she thought she was doing because she thought her credit limit was rising. She would even pay for everything for her friends She even called her mom to enthusiastically tell her how high her credit limit was and it was maxed out, not knowing that was the bill she owed This is something that should be common sense, but in America financial literacy is so low people actually don’t know the difference Financial literacy classes in American high schools should be mandatory
