A theory on how Rory got around the minimum reqs to keep his PGA Tour membership: he facetimed the PGA Tour Commish's favorite NFL coach during a meeting with him.

He’s a life time member. Doesn’t have to meet minimum 15. Only if he wants to keep voting ability and conflicting events releases. Just look back at Tiger in 2018-2019 season. He didn’t play 15 and kept his membership

Because PGAT is a lawless land with no shame:

What’s Rolapp going to do? Tell Rory when and where to play? Ha..6 time major/grand slam winner. GTFOH. At the end of the day, no one is going to mandate when/where any of these guys play. They’ve all got their own schedules.

Why should a player have a minimum requirement on the Tour ? Especially a player with his stature in the game. They should be able to pick and choose their schedule. If Rory doesn't play, another player gets an opportunity which is a good thing.

Any functional workplace and Rory:

He’s a life time member.

Not the win you thought it would be 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have a crazier theory... Hear me out...His name is Rory McIlroy.

Maybe ask a question?

He could just stop playing, get a DUI in a subdivision come back three months later and be the spokesperson at press conferences for the tour.
