@PaulaKempRj I re-read the whole of War and Peace in three days flat for my final exams. It’s a masterpiece. All Human Life is There!

Chris-- serious question. Why the nose ring (or whatever it is called )? It must mean something. For me, it is distracting and takes away from the message you have been so good at communicating to a whole new audience. I don't mean to offend in any way but have to ask.

it shouldn’t take away from what i’m doing though. i don’t think you should let a piercing distract you from the fact im recommending good literature. i’m not offended or anything! i just feel like you’re pointing out something that shouldn’t be pointed out

Can I recommend "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau? Just a beautiful, meditative book about what's really important in life. It's perfect for, as you put it, finding a "cabin in the woods, just to think about it for a while."

I love seeing your posts! I have always been a visual person, it’s easy to abandon books that bore me. An *excellent* book will hold my attention, lose track of time.

My top books are All Quiet on the Western Front and its sequel The Way Back. Highly recommended!

And then reread them when you are old—much older than the authors were when they wrote those books. Wild experience!
