A thought experiment 🤔 #USA #Russia #Ukraine

This argument/analogy falls completely apart when you include several facts that were omitted here such as that as far back as the 2000s Russian FSB was intervening in Ukrainian elections, Ukrainian popular opinion did not shift to joining NATO until after Russia invaded in 2014-

First strike nuclear weapons lol

Hey dipshit, how does Russia removing 80% of its troops and military hardware from its border with Finland (an actual NATO member) fit with that « muh NATO expansion » narrative ? Or the wanton murder and torture of people in occupied territories just for speaking Ukrainian ?

I'm a little confused though. Estonia & Latvia have been NATO members since 2004 and both of them border Russia. And Finland became a NATO member last year. And it seems like the best thing to do is either be a member of NATO or own nukes. Was it 2009 when Russia invaded Georgia?

Russia legit wanted to join NATO what are u on

And in this thought experiment, you think the US would be justified in invading Mexico?

The US would have nuked Panama the second Russia started any of that - it’s absurd that folks think Russia has over reacted considering they were pleading for a diplomatic solution for at least 7 years since the Maidan coup

Hey my dude when will you make a video about all the nzis in the Russian Army? Or all the far right parties and organizations from all over Europe that support Russia and putin?

I think this analogy is problematic for the same reason I think the way it’s discussed now is problematic. It completely ignores everything prior to NATO. Why NATO was formed, (USSR violating sovereignty of occupied WW2 territories and its goals to expand it),…

Hey buddy, did Ukraine join NATO? Also, why did Putin say Finland and Sweden joining NATO was not a problem for Russia and they are completely fine with it?
