If you told me that we would experience setback then success then setback and then success I wouldn’t believe you. I can’t express how proud I am of your growth and development mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, professionally & in every other area of your life.

Neither of us knew that we encounter surgery multiple times. As you prepared to go into the operating room for surgery you spoke this forth. After that you ended up being drafted 14th after which you had another surgery. BUT…You didn’t give up and kept the same hunger.

The same hunger that made you fly to Missouri when the whole world was shutdown during COVID and workout in my garage. You pushed yourself like never before! After which, I made the leap of faith and moved my Family to Denver to help you become the best version of yourself.

They said I was stupid, crazy, and list goes on but like you I tuned it all out. Then the NBA Bubble happened. You showed the world what you were capable and got a much deserved MAX CONTRACT. Little did we know that at some point we would be back in the operating room.

Another off season where the focus was rehab but you never gave up hope and we kept pushing. This time it was different because not only was I your performance coach but you presented me with the opportunity to be your business manager as well.

Trusting me to be a good steward of everything that belongs to you isn’t something that I took lightly. The trips to conferences, taking online courses, late nights studying business, management, and administration paid off. Fast fwd to now and you’re a 24yr old NBA CHAMPION!
