This is “Hardcore 94.” Imagine being a kid growing up in Compton in the 90s. Life is hard enough. Sprinkle in some Zombies and Aliens on top and this is what you got. This is a bit inspired by my childhood love of 90s hip hop and horror and based on a current feature film I’m developing. We started slowly with images and saw an enormous interest in tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, or Leonardo. ChatGPT is rapidly replacing Googling, and all the generative AI tools are replacing all the stock photos and videos, with tools like Runway enabling storytelling for everyone. And we won't take over Hollywood. We will surpass it in ways we can't even imagine right now. We'll be able to create worlds and stories beyond our wildest imagination. Generative AI is enabling creative people to go 1000x on what was possible before. At the core of everything we'll still need human creativity, and we have to understand that AI tools without it will be nothing. This is the best AI-generated movie trailer I have personally done! I am happy to share my latest AI trailer, "BloodSpace," based on a feature film I am currently developing. Make sure you watch til the end! I had to sneak in at least one shot with Runway's new last-frame tool. That's the power of these AI films; you can edit them up to release within minutes. I used many different AI tools to bring this vision to life and I can geek out in the notes if anyone is interested. A few top of mind were Runway Gen 3, Midjourney 6.1, Kling AI, and Luma Dream Machine. I wanted vampires on the moon, and dammit, I got my vampires on the moon! Cheers!

I was here last year at Super Return, and I think one of the LLM leaders made a comment that by this year, 50% of all white-collar jobs are going to be gone. lando was asked what’s stood out most in mclaren’s constructors’ championship run this year: “without making a joke of it, i think you've got the two things: you obviously need the best car. i think we've had that for 95% of the races, and we’ve got two good drivers. there are plenty of other teams with two great drivers. i kind of hate saying it, but not ones who have delivered every weekend as often as what oscar and myself have done. but it's also easier for us to deliver because we're also ahead of the field a lot of the time, so in some ways we have an easier job than some others. but a constructor, you need two drivers who deliver every weekend, who finish most races and that's what we've been able to do. maybe not the last couple but until that point, we've been the best performing duo as drivers and we've clearly had the best car and been the best team”

I've been using Kling 3.0 Omni Kling AI a lot for storyboarding and ideation. Lots of ad agencies in Southeast Asia have been using this method. Before we brief an actual TVC director, copywriters and art directors usually generate simple concepts and scenes using AI video tools. The process has been fun and effective. Instead of making a presentation deck full of text and images taken from the internet, we generate video ideas and show them during creative meetings. In the end, none of the AI footage is actually used because we end up shooting with real cameras anyway. But it saves a huge amount of time and allows us to quickly iterate on ideas, test different directions, and align everyone before moving into full production.
