It’s such a feat of engineering and never ceases to amaze. Good morning John, have a lovely day. #ForthRailBridge

Thanks Janette, you too.

Two carriages, must be rush hour.

Puts that huge hulk into perspective.

Dad born in South Queensferry, his Auntys back bedroom looked straight across to the Rail Bridge, magnificent sight lit up on a night.

That’s a great view to wake up to.

Farquhar Terrace, South Queensferry. Dad was actually born in the same street in 1945. Beautiful place, always loved going up there.

My good pal runs the Maid of the Forth...told me years ago that he always goes inside under the bridge cos loads of stuff falls off it...😳

That’s not good!

Yep...

Please remember there are no trains 17-25 Jan due to line electrification works.

No more photos for the next week then! 🤣

Beautiful

Thanks

😍

People rave about this bridge. I’ve travelled across it by train so many times, and just don’t get it. It was an engineering marvel in its day, but it’s damn ugly!
