Did you know in some states when a neighbor cuts down a tree, if it falls into your yard and damages your property, it’s deemed an “act of god” and you are responsible for the damages to your property. For me this could be a huge headache for many people, it shows no accountability. If the neighbor’s tree damages someone else property, you would think that it’s their responsibility since it’s their tree and it’s their actions that caused the damage. Why on earth would any state have this law is beyond me, I wouldn’t want to live in an area like that, where one day you are on top and the next day you could be thousands in debt. What would you do if this was the case for you?

This man who is a landscaper said you should never build a tree coffin around a tree. He said it ends up making the tree die by restricting the roots and having too much mulch. I never knew they were called "tree coffins". I looked it up and it does say they can be very detrimental to your tree if not done correctly. The pavers can restrict root growth and the mulch shouldn't be too thick or torching the base of the tree. I have seen some pretty nice "tree coffins". I never knew they were bad for your trees. Do you have these around your trees? Did you build one a certain way that allows your tree to flourish? What about the people who cemented their pavers together and in the ground?

This woman heard rushing water and went outside. At first she couldn't figure out where the river of water was coming from. It was rushing from the back under her car in her driveway. As she looked further she could see the next door neighbor's above ground pool had busted. One person pointed out that the pool house has a basement or crawl space and will need to have that dried out and this woman will need to have someone come out and check her exterior wall and flooring in those rooms for water damage. Since it is an above ground pool, the insurance for the pool house might not cover the damage if the pool wasn't disclosed or added on. They could be paying thousands of dollars out of their own pocket. Do you have an above ground pool? Has it been added to your insurance? Aren't most pools just a headache?

Hey y’all. I have a 15-foot pecan tree we planted back in 2012 so it's about 14 years old now. It has never produced a single pecan. We literally just discovered an old, mature pecan tree way at the back of our property. It's covered in vines, including what looks like wild muscadine grapes, and sits right on the property line. We never go back there, so we had no idea it was even there. I have no clue if it actually produces nuts. The old tree is roughly 300 feet, about 100 yards, from the young one. Is that close enough for them to cross pollinate each other? Or should I go ahead and cut the top out of the young tree around 5–6 feet up and graft a branch from the old one? I will learn on the you tubes how do wrap it I guess. Obviously the old tree hasn't helped the young one produce anything yet. Both seem healthy otherwise. Any experienced pecan growers out there? What would you do? Help….
