A tribute to John “Cheech” Garrett.

This is still my favourite Cheech moment: jinxing Luongo's shutout...

John Garrett was one of the most amiable, insightful and all-around wonderful guy on the beat. It was a delight to watch him in action on the ice and hear and see him on radio and tv. He is sorely missed.

My lunch today in honour of Cheech 😭

@FriedgeHNIC He was the best of us.

Beautiful tribute

No matter what one does or how well one performs, if that person is a caring person with a loving heart, that goes far beyond the universe. That was Cheech. RIP.🖤❤️💛3️⃣1️⃣🥅

That Murph segment I'm a mess now.

He wore that mask when guys like Al Macinnis , Iafrate , Bourque ... were playing. Fearless.

And the Canucks STILL have the worst broadcast crew in the NHL.

This was so well done! Thank you for this. RIP Cheech. Forever a Canuck!

Cheech I love and miss u brother!!!!

RIP, you are missed

👏👏👏
