Mannnnn … Danya was a great teacher. The thing I liked most about him is he was not into gimmicks rather he used to explain How to think logically for every move. He was an awesome commentator too. I wish the world was a kinder place …

The incredible and admirable amount of compassion Daniel displayed against Ivanchuk is one of the greatest things I've ever witnessed in all my years following and watching Chess. For all his genius this gesture said more about who he was than all his victories put together.
