Ed, to me the answer is pretty straightforward. Russia is the aggressor and must not be allowed to profit off what they have done. If NATO show's weak leadership, it will begin to unravel.

Both great points.

Peace negotiation requires *negotiating*. Why isn’t this clear? Ukraine HAS to lose SOMETHING to gain something. That’s the way of the world, buddy.

But if Ukraine loses something to gain peace, then what's to stop Russia from just rinsing and repeating in a few months? Ukraine just wants Russia to give back what they took and get out of their country. They shouldn't have give up anything for that. It's theirs.

What’s winning the war in your opinion? This war cannot be won by Ukraine, we can only through endless money and resources with no successful outcome. A study of Ukraines history will only tell you they’ve never democracy or a stable Country.

I think the only win comes if Putin is overthrown by someone who actually believes in democracy and borders, to be honest.

Maybe Ukraine should stop bombing Donbas, killing ethnic Russians, funding neo-Nazis, and violating the Minsk Agreement? If they didn’t do all of this to begin with, there’d be no war in Ukraine.

Not sure how "peace" gets done, but we cant keep letting people go through this meat grinder.

Shouldn't that be Ukraine's decision though? If people want to defend their country from an invader, isn't that their decision to make?

The only solution is going to be a peace deal that has Ukraine relinquishing control of the territory Russia has secured. I realize many don't want to hear that but it's exactly how this will end.
