They are calling on leaders to do more about the gun violence in Compton Just to give you an idea how bad gun violence is in Compton, In 2021, the Compton Sheriff’s Station area reported 52 homicides and 353 shooting victims To give you an idea of Compton data - There are about 350 shootings per year - 25% of Compton is Black - Black people commit 75%+ of the shootings according to crime data 73% of Compton is now Mexicans This isn’t a White People issue, this is a minority issue
