UPS driver here noticed one of my USPS packages was left in error a street over, so they brought it to me along with dropping off a package for me since they noticed the issue. Some people are class acts, and I've had really good delivery drivers in general here.

FedEx drivers are the absolute worst. They drive like assholes and deliver packages even worse. It’s Wild how much different the 2 companies are

The UPS guy is making 30 bucks an hour and the other delivery drivers are making 18. You get what you pay for it.

I always groan when the carrier is FedEx. They leave it on the front porch. Exposed to porch pirates. When there is very clearly a back porch.

Over the decades I've received deliveries UPS has never failed me, always my favorite shipper.

@FEDEX sucks! I use DHL, UPS, or USPS whenever there is a delivery option. ZERO customer service. Lies about delivery attempts. Ignoring clearly posted signs about where to leave packages. I get quarterly medication that MUST remain frozen - its always a nightmare.

over here we can pay for ups fedex or auspost , it ends up as a roll of the dice who actually delivers it

My parcel box is half a mile down the driveway from the house and this is my life. UPS is the only one who will use the box or come through the gate. FedEx, who use contractors, is the worst. USPS, whose union agreement is consistent with all government, won’t exit their vehicle.

As someone who works in a job that relies on shipping, UPS is the only carrier we use. FedEx is just completely unreliable.

It's not about character, it's the difference between union drivers that make over $100k with full benefits and pension vs 1099 employees who get paid peanuts. It's called you get what you pay for.

FedEx does really suck. They(2 of them in the truck) just left me laying in my front lawn, after fracturing my leg, last year. They just drove away and didnt even bother asking if I needed help or if they should call 911 or anything.

Not about character at all. Ups drivers make around $45/hour, plus benefits, pension etc. they get paid to be perfect, and they don’t complain because they’re making $100k a year. They don’t run to their stops like you’ve seen Amazon and FedEx workers do, they slowly walk, carefully place the package down etc. they will gladly milk that clock. Whereas fedex, amazon, usps etc make basically pennies. I worked at amazon, back the top rate capped at $23/hour, i work at fedex now, I’ve seen multiple drivers start off around $130-$150 a day. Usps ain’t no better for a federal job, they’re making like $23 an hour.
