This is a very narrow minded way of thinking about School..Taking your child to school is not an investment.. ..

Sounds crazy but she makes a lot of sense

It's twisted wala - instead of education for learning. We have Education for Exams, Exams for Certification: as the hurdles used to filter poor children from others. And even when they manage to jump all hurdles they'll need connections to get jobs which they're qualified to do.

I love beautiful minds and this one is just one of the rarest

@NyokabiJesse what's your POV about this?

Very valid points. She could also have mentioned this narrative of not having children. Two decades to come, the rates of suicide and loneliness in this country will be mad!

Watoto wako kwa barabara from 5 to 9 TF are they doing?

It depends, are you investing in your children's education for personal benefit or for their personal development.

This flexibility you can only get it in home schooling.

School system is a lost cause, the most important thing right now is that you're able to read and write

Good thoughts however let's remove this black tax and ROI mindset from our brains. Don't take your kids to school so that they come back and help you. Give them the best so that they can have a pedestal to also start their lives/family/generations after them.

The answer is in Rev 12: 5-9

School isn't a direct investment to the parent but to the child itself. Schooling is just like food to the child. Responsible for his well-being. Therefore, you as a parent should strive to monitor what is being impacted to and if the child is benefiting fully to the opportunity.

school is about programming.sit and follow rules.ask your self do you have a say on the curriculum or what your child learns in school.can you not take your child to what is considered school, you'll be arrested .

@grok summerize this in one simple paragraph

Nice one

True mama but we need to fix some things in this our country to get our return on investment on our children. The law dictates that education is a child's right and until they're 18+ you stand to be charged for neglect. Anyways I hear you tena sana.

Ni kama tunazaa biashara ama, this smooth brain bimbo is talking from a cave dweller perspective.

If you think educating your children is expensive, try illiteracy. This is the most stupid argument I've ever heard. Kids are not an investment
