A very young and hungry Led Zeppelin performing “Communication Breakdown” in Paris, 1969. This was a promotional visit for the band and, as is evident in this clip, Zeppelin was playing at a very high level, to demonstrate what was to be the next dominant force of the 70s.

Just scorching that stage and watching those people just sitting in their seats is funny

I feel like this sort of passion/rawness and originality has been gone for a long time. Have we become so enamored with our technology that we've removed too much humanity from our art as a result?

All those people in the audience sitting down in their seats!! :-)

Awesome 🎸

Lord did this audience know what they were witnessing live??

This is the song they opened with at the Boston Garden, October 1969. Tickets were $4.50, $5.50 and $6.50. I snuck in…….i was 13 and it was my 1st concert!

Zeppelin's explosive performance proves their brilliance and sets the stage for their future success.

50+ yrs later, and we're still in awe. No other band has created as many masterpieces as the Hammer of the Gods.

Robert Plant has one of the most, if not, most iconic rock voices of all time. Steve Perry of Journey is a close second.
