A Veteran's Perspective of the Parade

She’s not wrong, I spoke to several of my buddies I served alongside with. There was definitely something off with the soldiers there yesterday. Even a few days ago when Trump was speaking and you saw the lack of discipline the boos for their former CIC Joe Biden. There’s a lot off recently with the soldiers that take photo ops with this administration. Uniforms aren’t being properly worn, handling of weapons even the gear doesn’t align etc if you’ve been in it you see it. One of my buddies joked he wouldn’t be shocked if they aren’t soldiers at all!

I’m sure the Orange Fuhrer is furious that he couldn’t demand and command both military and American citizens to pay homage to him. More than 6 million people participated in #NoKings protests in the U.S. alone. Trump’s self-aggrandizing birthday party was a huge failure.

They also played CCR's "Fortunate Son", at a "parade" for the draft dodging son of a millionaire slum lord. That does not look like a coincidence either IMO.

What she says is true. The first day I reported in to Marine boot camp it was all about drill. I still remember how to march in lock step decades after mustering out. These Soldiers were “strolling” and not pleased with their orders that day.

It was so apparent to those who never served. They were reluctant walkers. I applaud them.

I saw another view of this group and the general or whoever that was marching in front of them was doing the same shuffle. I'm so glad they're not going to help him.
