I am sharing with you this paper that has recently been published looking at oestrogen-only HRT and breast cancer incidence. The paper is a meta-analysis, which is a type of statistical analysis where researchers review, combine, and analyse multiple studies together. In this paper, researchers have looked at randomised studies involving oestrogen and breast cancer incidence and put them together to see what the results show. The conclusion is clear: women who take oestrogen-only HRT have a LOWER future risk of developing breast cancer. We’ve known for several years that women who take oestrogen have a lower future incidence of breast cancer as well as other cancers and other conditions. This paper is very reassuring, and it’s worth remembering that any risk of breast cancer has been shown using oestrogen with a combination of a synthetic progestogen, not the body-identical type progesterone healthcare professionals usually prescribe.

In the UK, only around 14% of menopausal women take HRT and this number usually shocks people. But as you can hear Dr Mary Claire Haver talk about here - in the US it is only 4% now, when just over 20 years ago it was around 40%. Much of this reduction in HRT use and the negativity regarding HRT stems from the misinterpretation of the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study which was published in 2002. For those of you who don’t know much about this, in 1993, the WHI began a clinical trial looking at the health effects of women taking oestrogen-only or combined HRT compared to a placebo. In 2002, researchers halted the part of the study looking at women taking both oestrogen and progesterone (two hormones that decline during the perimenopause onwards) early over concerns there were small increased risks of breast cancer, heart disease, strokes and blood clots. This led to confusion and concern from doctors and women worldwide, and in the UK women taking HRT fell sharply. But even with the older versions of HRT, the WHI researchers have subsequently acknowledged that HRT is the most effective treatment for managing menopausal symptoms like hot flushes and that taking oestrogen alone reduces the risk of breast cancer by 23% and death by breast cancer by 40%. It is time we move on from the misinterpretation of this study and allow more women to access hormone replacement if that is what they want.

Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit had announced that work on Defence Corridor, semiconductor park, GCC, Mega Tech City, Fin Tech City will start within 6 months. 8 months later, we are still where we were. No news of the committee which was to submit its report within 6 months. I wonder if such a committe was ever formed at all. In Nov, he announced Bihar will be developed as a tech hub of Eastern India. 2 CMs have changed but nothing has moved. Will Bihar's media please remind him and ask him tough questions.

Or…hear me out Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell Dylan Borland wrecked his own career because he made very poor decisions like drinking and driving, leaving the scene of his wrecked vehicle, impersonating a law enforcement officer in a report, lying, delusions, etc. It’s common sense that if you do these kinds of things, your clearance is toast. From his own words, it’s clear he has had integrity and behavioral issues in the past. Drinking and driving incidents, along with impersonation a law enforcement officer (which is a crime), would be cause for immediate revocation of a security clearance. Also, Dylan Borland was just an imagery analyst and at a very low enlisted rank. He didn’t even make it to being an NCO. For the record, he was NOT an intelligence officer. Imagery analysts wouldn’t be read-in to special programs concerning technology/R&D programs. There is no reason for that. He just reviewed imagery and FMV to ensure a target is still in its position. On Saturday, 21st March, at around 10:00 AM, an SRC member named Dylan was reportedly abducted at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT). It is alleged that he was later rescued by his mother, who is believed to be a senior official affiliated with ZANU PF. Following Dylan’s abduction, another student, Daniel Mandizvidza, a ZINASU🇿🇼 member known for his vocal opposition to the “2030 agenda”, also went missing later that same day at approximately 6:00 PM. Daniel, who runs a podcast where students openly discuss political and governance issues, reportedly disappeared after leaving to buy something from nearby shops. As of now, other students who were reportedly in contact with Dylan are said to be in hiding.
