When the victim is a man, they call it mistreatment, but when it’s a woman, it’s GBV

In the video, the woman physically attacking her partner because he allegedly took her car without permission is wrong on every level. Even if she was angry or felt disrespected, violence is never the right response. What stands out even more is the man’s calm reaction “Nkosikazi, you won’t like it.” That sentence says a lot. It shows a man who is aware that if he retaliates, even verbally, the situation could easily be twisted against him. Many men know that if they raise their voice or defend themselves, society will quickly label them as the aggressor.

Why do you call it a mistreatment instead of GBV? Is it because the victim is a man and the perpetrator a woman?Where are the GBV activists?

Bro to bro: Never drive your woman's car. Damaged women are violent. They don't see any value in a man who isn't rich. To them, such men are mere placeholders who will be replaced with their spec. In the meantime, respect yourself and act accordingly!

Women bullying husbands in many households is more prevalent than is spoken of. Lack of respect for men. On the other hand alcohol plays a part. Men who drink abuse or get abused. The man gets drunk and now cannot stand up to this abuse

Men always blame the victims, they always have advice for the victims instead of addressing the perpetrators. There is no shame in speaking out as a victim! Men should dismantle the victim blame tactics so they can understand that shame belongs to the perpetrators not the victim

Mistreatment?? You mean domestic violence? Look at your choice of words because it’s a man who is at the receiving end. The wordings in this post are absurd and that is me trying to use the mildest word I can find to show my utmost displeasure.
