Security forces raided a village in western Iran on Monday, surrounding the area and arresting hundreds of residents, people familiar with the matter told Iran International. The raid targeted the village of Chenar, Asadabad county, in Hamedan province. Dozens of armored vehicles were deployed along with five minibuses and vans, while forces positioned four DShK heavy machine guns on rooftops across the village, the sources said.
