#NHAI would like to clarify that the claims being circulated in the video regarding the Mumbai–Goa Highway are misleading. As part of the monitoring process, instrumentation devices are being installed on the RE wall panels to continuously assess and record any movement or displacement. The installation of these devices is a precautionary engineering measure as per standard protocol. The stitching of the deck slab/PQC panels visible in the video is part of remedial methodology to fix the panels in place. The traffic is safely allowed from side slip roads in about 500 m length near this VUP at present. The safety of National Highway users remains NHAI’s highest priority.
