The student said it was meant to teach students how to respond if ICE ever came to the class—and how white students needed to use their bodies to "cover" and "shield" other students who may be likely targets of immigration enforcement. Joseph Rivera, a father of two kids in the Hudson School District, said Monday he warned the school board about the February protest in advance.
