The Concorde was a British-French turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner from 1976 until 2003. Concorde could reach speeds over twice the speed of sound (Mach 2.04), and its distinctive features included a droop nose section for improved visibility on landing and takeoff It was celebrated for its advanced engineering and speed, capable of cutting transatlantic flight times in half, flying from London to New York in just under 3.5 hours. However, its operation was challenging, including high operating costs, environmental concerns due to noise and air pollution, and limited seating capacity. Ultimately, declining commercial interest and maintenance costs led to its retirement.

Have you ever experienced bad turbulence before? 🤔 In fluid dynamics, turbulence or turbulent flow is fluid motion characterized by chaotic changes in pressure and flow velocity. Via : @HowThingsWork_
