Underkeep Steam page: Hi-res video:

y'all looking for creators to play 👀👀👀👀

Reminds me of my childhood and Dungeon Master 2!

Looking awesome!

Looks great.

ohhhh hecking love me some cheeky dungeon crawling ^^

Waiting for this! Jets'n'Guns devs :)

YES 😀😀😀

Also Haptics are extremely important. Where Monsters spawn when you see the min the distance, do they just teleport to your front right side etc. Feedback on hits etc, I feel here is too much AI used?

Hi! The monsters move in a similar way as games like classic Lands of Lore, Eye of Beholder, Dungeon Master, Ishar - they move per square, they don't teleport. Everything is handmade.

Sorry if I felt harsh. I felt the haptic was lacking, its hard to define. Since feedback for movement or decisions ingame is so important. I feel even EotB has less pixelation than the goldplated corridor here for example? Also the Kobold "jumped" into frame, soldier too a bit.

I understand. We've been fine-tuning the gameplay for several months. We're going to release updated demo soon. Monsters can appear in front of the player, but only if they come from the side. In the game everything looks more natural than in the video.

Are there any plans for a Brazilian Portuguese translation? Also, you could create a Japanese translation as well, since dungeon crawlers are especially popular there.

We're a very small "garage" team, our resources are quite limited, and there's a lot of text in the game. We'll see about other languages after release. We'd like to include Japanese with the console ports. We'll see with others.

Please make the full game beefy. The biggest problem with indie games is when they make the most amazing qualityslop ever that is just a joy to behold and it only has like 5 hours worth of play time

I understand. It will take about 15 hours to complete the game. But it could take even longer if you want to see absolutely everything.

When are you planning to release this?

This looks awesome. Did ya'll do a writeup anywhere of which tools/engine/language you used to create it? Also how big is your team?

Thank you for having 4man parties. I actually hate 6man parties deeply. Looks great.
