A Walmart rant for the ages... Tell me I'm wrong.

The Walmart in my area is not that bad. What's most annoying, though, is the number of employees blocking the isles filling their carts with inventory to be delivered outside to the curbside customers.

I try to avoid it. Mine seems to have the tendency for shootings. It’s nuttier than a squirrels lunch box in there.

So don’t go. Who cares. Just remember they provide millions of jobs, both in house and to all those little companies who survive because of them. For us, they’ve been a lifesaver with home delivery. Husband was disabled and I couldn’t leave him to shop, but Walmart delivered to my front door. So just rant if you think it’s helpful, but remember you don’t speak for everyone.

I wish this was funny. WalMart is a total shitshow near me.

@CatherineM76971 I so miss 24 hour Walmart❗️I always went at 2 am. I have PTSD and can’t deal with that monkey business. I just order what I need from Amazon, go to Aldi at 9 am, and a local grocery for meat. 👽

Walmart gives me a good idea of what type of area I'm in by paying attention to how much and what is locked up in the aisles

It is bad. Really, really bad! Feels like a shower is needed after leaving the store. Walmart should have outdoor showers, kinda like before and after leaving a swimming pool… for several reasons.

The last time I graced Walmart with my presence was 2004. Truly. I vowed then ‘never again’ and I simply don’t. Nor do I shop Target when they went all woke.

I stopped going to Walmart about 4 years ago.

Somehow IKEA is worse, but at least it smells like meatballs.

I do the curbside pick ups a few times a year. Or spend 35 for free shipping, delivery. I hate going inside.

Just went to the Walmart in Lake Park FL. I absolutely experienced nothing like what you are describing. It was a normal store, with self checkout and manned checkout and everyone was using the manned checkout. The store was very Americana. Except the woman checking your receipt.

One Walmart near us is like Martha’s Vineyard for the common folks. The one 3 miles down, takes you either downtown Lagos or Karachi with the full smells and the chaos. Chose your own.

I stopped going 3yrs ago. Our local store is full of illegals & most of the employees are rude foreign women that hate whites. A group of them were in a huddle whispering & giving me dirty looks the last time I was there. I abandoned my cart, walked out & never returned.

I go once a year for school supplies. Even though it's the only big store in town, I refuse. My daughter and I got followed by 3 men to the point I called my husband to come from Work to make sure we got out safe. I'm not the only one either. Several women in this Walmart have had similar encounters. It's all over priced, imported, made to replace Junk. Sam Walton would truly be ashamed of what they have done to his beloved dream.

needs to try a lot harder to crack down on their stores making them look bad. I’ve been to a Walmart in some places and it’s a nice well put together store that is clean, well organized, and has everything I want. Then you have the locations that look awful and trashy. The price tags are just tossed off the shelves so you can tell what the price of items are. There’s people loitering outside. Honestly if I were the founders or in a leadership position I’d create a team in the company that goes to the problem stores, give them effective resources known to resolve the problems, and a deadline to clean up their act or shut down the store. If they can’t provide a good shopping experience for the prices people pay for groceries then they shouldn’t keep the store open.

Kids don’t know nothing about lol The pandemic is over but I never got my 24/7 grocery shopping back. I had a workaround. I intentionally went at 2am to avoid these people

My local Walmart is nothing like this! I guess it depends on where you are, and it’s not just Walmart, no retailer/restaurant is immune!

This is so true! My Walmart in Ohio is full of nothing but non English speaking associates. Even if I have my groceries delivered, I'm telling you none of them speak proper English or no English at all. I mean seriously, someone said ice was in the city and I was like, "Are they going to Walmart?!" Now, when I looked it up, I found Walmart was offering something called Live Better U: An English language learning class? 🤷 Either way I don't go into my Walmart after 6:00 p.m. for fear I get mugged or high! 😂

Hey, I haven’t been living there since the Clinton administration, I’m just wearing camouflage to blend in with the locals so I don’t get harassed. If you look crazy, the crazy’s will leave you alone.

There is a 3r World Wallmart close to me but I rather drive 10 extra miles to the brand new one that is normal. Some Wallmarts are just plain dangerous to shop they get so many police calls to solve problems. Nobody speaks English. His description is so on target.
