Due to significant terrorist activity and rocket fire toward the State of Israel from the eastern part of the Humanitarian Area in Gaza, remaining in this area has become dangerous. Accordingly, at this time, the Humanitarian Area will be adjusted. The adjustment is being carried out in accordance with precise intelligence indicating that Hamas has embedded terrorist infrastructure in the area defined as the Humanitarian Area. The early warning to civilians is being made in order to mitigate harm to the civilian population and keep civilians away from areas of combat. The IDF is about to forcefully operate against the terrorist organizations and therefore calls on the remaining population left in the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis to temporarily evacuate to the adjusted Humanitarian Area in Al-Mawasi. Listen carefully to this, because he’s right. Throughout this whole tragic affair, I can hand on heart say, I have tried to do exactly what former President Obama suggests. He recognizes that while BOTH sides MUST take responsibility for this senseless disregard for life, we have to speak to THIS MOMENT and in this moment, Benjamin Netanyahu MUST recognize that the answer to this 70 year old problem is NOT to kill innocent Palestinians. Now he will claim, he does not intend to kill innocent civilians and while technically, it’s a statement like ‘I did not have sex with that woman’. He knows that his words disingenuous. He is hiding behind intent, by seeing those civilians as having little to no value, in comparison with the military objective. He believes it acceptable to kill 200 civilians to kill 1 Hamas operative. He claims his sole intent is to kill the Hamas operative, the 200 dead civilians is an ‘unfortunate’ consequence of war. By any measure, this is fundamentally WRONG and violates the so called rules of war, which he seems to think should not apply to Israel, given the attack on Israeli civilians. That’s NOT how it works. The truly sinister thing is, HE KNOWS THAT, but he’s doing it anyway. The end result is, the Israeli civilians will still be dead, he will still have to answer for why HE and the IDF FAILED to protect those murdered and taken hostage. In addition, now it would seem he may have to answer questions as to whether the IDF also contributed to the deaths of some of those civilians. There appears to be the unverified suggestion, that commanders in the field invoked the ‘Hannibal Directive’. This is a controversial policy dating back from 2001 - 2014. It was a military policy that stipulated the use of maximum force in the event of a soldier being kidnapped. It stated, “You will open fire without constraints, in order to prevent the abduction,” even at the risk of killing a captive soldier. There appears to be evidence from survivors of the Hamas attack that a number of those killed, died as a result of crossfire between the terrorists and the IDF. Also, there are claims that’s some of the severe structural damage was as a result of IDF tank fire, which explains the intense fire damage in some instances. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR. It is impossible to verify ANY of these claims without an independent inquiry. We can say with some confidence, this will never happen. The IDF will likely investigate themselves and find no evidence any of this happened. However, it will not stop soldiers and survivors speaking out. The question will be if the government can silence their voices. This is unquestionably a disastrous conflict in which as ever, the innocent pay the highest price. The only person that can stop the continuing slaughter is the POTUS. Without US military assistance Israel can’t continue.

The IDF says it has completed its preparations for the return of the hostages set to be released by Hamas after more than two years of captivity in the Gaza Strip. As part of the preparations by the Personnel Directorate and Technology and Logistics Directorate, a facility at the IDF's Re'im base -- where released hostages have been brought to previously -- has been expanded, the IDF says. At the Re'im facility, the released hostages will undergo an initial physical and mental health checkup, and reunite with family members. The IDF has said it is prepared to handle the simultaneous release of all 20 living hostages if Hamas chooses to free them all together. Later, the hostages and their families will be taken to hospitals in central Israel for additional treatment and to meet other family members. The IDF just announced that they conducted the largest operation of the war since October 7th, capturing 358 terrorists, including numerous senior leaders from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which is another terrorist organization in Gaza. Where were they hiding? In the Shifa Hospital. Yeah, the same hospital that the IDF cleared out in November and found signs that Israeli hostages were held there, underground terrorist tunnels, and Hamas’s central command under the hospital. Hamas went back to Shifa and barricaged themselves inside because Hamas hides in hospitals. I don’t know how many times I have to say this, but Hamas continuously puts Palestinian civilians in harms way, by turning hospitals into their terrorist hideouts. Meanwhile, the IDF has been supplying food, water, and generators to the hospital because this is a war against Hamas, not against the Palestinians in Gaza. This is what we’re going up against. And Israel will continue to do everything it can to protect civilians, while targeting Hamas terrorists. Gaza will only be free when Hamas is defeated.

I have observed an increase in what appears to be IDF targeted killings of terrorists in Gaza over the last days. About an hour ago, the IDF reportedly struck an area near the Shati Beach camp. Earlier, the IDF struck a Hamas police vehicle. It will be interesting to see if the IDF says anything about who it has targeted.
