A Washington Construction Company hired undocumented workers and had them work crazy hours to finish a bunch of jobs and then when it was time to pay them they called ICE on them so they didn’t have to pay them! Disgusting! 🤬

Today was the advanced glacier climb. About 2 hours north of Vik. So insane. 2 miles in and about 1100 vert. Hiking the ice flows is amazing treacherous. The guide is worth 5x what they pay them. And they it them rather well.

Them dang revenuers came by today, they heard I’ve been making some illegal ice cream up here. I was able to convince them that I hadn’t been making ice cream but I did have to pay them off with some cheese while they were here. Boy howdy that was a close one.🤣🤣

You booked a moving company to help you move to a new home. You agreed to their price and signed a contract with them. On the day of the move they arrive as promised and they pack up your belongings and load it up onto their truck. Then instead of taking them away to your destination, they take it to a warehouse. You call them and they said that it would be more money to take it to your property because it’s getting late. Essentially they are holding your belongings hostage, so what do you do now since you don’t have the extra money they want?

Some idiot has painted a cross on one of the hedgehogs, presumably so they can identify it, for some reason. If you want to identify hedgehogs, do it the proper way: pay attention to their size, shape and albedo. It's not hard if you're not lazy. Painting them is a bad thing. Don't handle hedgehogs (or *any* other wild animals) unless you need to and don't paint a target on them to mark them out by sight or smell to predators. It's stressful for them, the paint might be toxic and it can make it hard for them to curl up when they sense a threat. Just don't fuck with wild animals at all, they are not toys. They are not here for our entertainment. We should be delighted when they visit, not mark them as property.

My cats didn’t want the toy anymore so I gave it to homeless kittens They are fed and have shelter but I have never seen them playing. They are always cautious and mostly hide from people. I hope this gives them a chance to be kittens and have a bit of fun, free of fear and worries.
